I agree, they’ve always strongly hinted that this land is THE land without magic. And yet…

Jefferson: A real world. How arrogant are you to think yours is the only one? There are infinite more. You have to open your mind. They touch one another, pressing up in a long line of lands. Each just as real as the last. All have their own rules. Some have magic, some don’t.

Some have magic…some don’t. That always read to me like there were multiple places without magic.
But then I look at our world. It was never a land without magic, right? The Dragon, even Regina had some magic in SB. Maybe a better way to word it is, a land where new magic cannot be created.

And yet..the Dragon made the potion for August before Rumple brought magic. *man I hate S,B and T*
