I’m thinking one could be a mermaid. Wasn’t Ariel supposed to be 16 when she married Prince Eric? The blonde girl, Laine MacNeil, is 15, so she would fit into the correct profile. Plus, her hair is close to strawberry-blonde with reddish hues. It doesn’t really bother me if she doesn’t have bright red hair, for as long as the story is compelling, I’m thrilled!
