I liked Daniel/Vala and Chloe/Oliver as well. I followed along the Chloe=Lois theory for awhile, but hopped off that wagon and didn’t like all the negativity about both the actress and character used for Lois, from some of those pushing that idea. But that’s fandom, people can get an idea in their minds. So I’m open to whatever they want to do on ONCE, and won’t ever ship anything so hard I have to close my mind to the story they are telling rather than what I thought they ought to do.
Yeah, it is hard to be loyal to the story when we have so much clinging hope for this ship. Alas, I will still happily watch OUAT whether CS happens or not. I trust that the writers will make Emma’s story as beautiful, intricate, and unexpected as we envision it would be with CS in it.
Though, I will still be saddened if there is no CS in sight. The chemistry, as we have all seen, is off the charts and we are all invested in that chemistry and the possibilities.
I didn’t realize that there was a Chloe=Lois theory out there. I am not surprised that there is, but Chloe is still her own character and woman in her own right. She challenges Oliver as much as he does her, both holding their own. I just wish we had more Chlollie moments. I believe the writers did not originally intend for Chlollie to happen until they saw scenes of Chloe and Oliver and the possibility of a romance. I believe Justin Hartley and Allison Mack made a conscious decision to hint at a romance when Chloe and Oliver have that infamous heart to heart in front of a cafe after she staged those crazy action scenarios and he ends up re-discovering himself in “Roulette.”
