It is possible if the stranger is Baelfire that he left the fairytale world and came into our world at a later date then Emma did or even those who are cursed did. He wouldn’t have had to come into our world centuries ago i think because if someone is traveling between dimensions then it isn’t necessary that time be in sinc between the two times. I think the biggest problem with who the stranger is or who the writer of the book is is how they got so much information and where did the stranger get the information in the new pages.
