Oh and I didn’t like that the squid wasn’t the cracken

1) Neal showing he has skills in NL.
2) Rumple and Belle’s heart to hearts
3) The Squid Ink suprrise
4) The star map to home scene
Least Favorite
1) Charming Dying! OH no
2) The Henry being rescued then not.
3) Bae because while I love Dylan as Young Bae, I can’t help but think “Why are you taller and your voice deeper than when you fell in the portal!?” It’s just a suspension of disbelief thing that is silly, and I brought it on myself by watching old episodes because if I had not, I would not have had it stand out so much.
In general though good episode!

Bae freezing Rumple
Peter Pan and all his scenes
Did Not Like
Henry dancing, it just seemed weird, and everyone looks so much older than him.
I am a nerd at heart.

I am a psychology and sociology student, so for me everything is about human interactions. When I watch any show those real moments of a scene are the valuable pieces of the whole content. I felt that Nasty Habits was the episode about human interactions.
I LOVED every scene of it, mostly between Rumple and Neal and then Peter Pan. Can I just say how impressed I am with a Peter Pan, I know he is evil, but how insanely good is Robbie Kay at bringing this evilness not without an emotion to his character?!
Oh, and I am so team NEAL right now (I didn’t know what to make of him for a long time), but he brings something real into the whole show. Rumple class as always! To me, this episode had the best acting to date, so REAL. Even Emma’s scene about Neal seemed more sincere to me than the scene when she broke down after calling herself a Lost Girl.
Everything just seemed so real about the characters in this episode, so well done to the actors and especially Robbie, Bobby and MRJ 🙂
*FEELS* (I think for the first time as much as never!)

1, Pan/Pied Piper. The kid is great.
2. The Snowing scenes.
3. Regina.
4. Hook telling Charming to tell his family about the wound.
Things that intrigued me:
1. Peter Pan did not have lost boys before Bae’s time. Children only visited him in his dreams. So I am very curious about Rumple and Pan’s relationship.
2. Hook knew about Bae’s cave. This would imply they saw each other after Hook betrayed Bae to the Lost Boys.
Keeper of Hook and Emma's smoldering first kiss, a certain Pirate's sauciness, the Evil Queen's snarkiness, Grumpy's gruffness and a drop of true love to make it all go down smooth.

– The way Neal tricked Rumpel was a lot like the way August tricked Rumpel back in season 1: tender reconciliation as a big “Psych!” handshake.Gaultheria's fanvids: http://youtube.com/sagethrasher

– Clunky villager dialogue. Calling the town “Hamlin” was enough of a clue-by-four. The writers didn’t need to tell us about the pipes, particularly since they then went on to show the pipes. And they really didn’t need to mention the pied cloak at all.Gaultheria's fanvids: http://youtube.com/sagethrasher
October 21, 2013 at 5:10 am #217644PheeParticipantShowing how resourceful Neal is. (escaping from Felix, harpooning the squid, tricking Peter to touching the squid ink, tricking Rumple to holding the squid ink, seeing the secret map that young Nealfire made.) He is all kinds of awesome to me at this point. His first attempt to save Henry was pretty good in my opinion given how powerful Peter is.
It’s so cool to see him doing his thing in NL. We never saw much of what he was doing in boring old our world, but seeing how he’s just going here and going there, and “Yeah I’ll totally just summon and spear this giant squid coz I know all about how to use the ink,” and he outwitted Pan with the arrow, and he made secret star maps in coconut shells. He is awesome. I could just imagine him running around NL as a kid, figuring all this stuff out, and even though he hates the place, he’s really in his element right now.
Rumple/Neal moments about the prophecy. Heartbreaking but great acting between Bobby and Michael. I can really buy that they are father and son with a lot of history. Maybe I’m the only one who was a bit glad that Neal gave Rumple a taste of his own medicine after he finds out that his OWN FATHER WAS CONTEMPLATING TO KILL HIS SON. If I was a parent I would get my child away too. I love seeing Neal’s devotion to Henry, even if it meant breaking his own relationship to his manipulative father.
Their scenes were so fabulous. Totally agreed that they make a convincing father/son pair. I can really believe that Bae’s history is something that Neal lived through and remembers. I don’t blame him for tricking Rumple and taking Henry either. He knew that if his Papa snapped, he wouldn’t be able to protect Henry, so he had no choice but to try and go out on their own. Was so heartbreaking when he walked off, leaving Rumple frozen to the spot.
Peter Pan playing his “games” I’m loving him more and more. He give Rumple a run for his money in manipluation
Serious kudos to Robbie Kay, because Pan is creepy as all getout. He can be acting a scene face to face with Robert Carlyle, and I can totally believe that Robbie’s character is the older, more controlling one. The guy is barely 18 and he can hold his own and then some against Robert freakin’ Carlyle.

Felix- I am intrigued by him. He wasn’t dancing with the other Lost Boys and he didn’t look happy. I want to know more about Felix. I liked how Pan could tell something was wrong just by the look on Felix’s face without him even saying anything.
Rumple- It’s so heartbreaking to watch Rumple be sad. He needs real Belle to comfort him.
Neal- Neal showed the stiltskin smarts.
Dislikes:
Neal rejecting Rumple and freezing him with the squid ink. Neal should have at least let Rumple accompany him as protection whilst he went to find Emma.

Neal couldn’t trust him though. Rumple *poofed* them to wherever they were, because Neal had to ask where they were, and Rumple said on the other side of the island. So if Rumple suddenly decided that he was gonna kill Henry after all, in a split second, he and Henry could *poof* away, and Neal would have no idea where they’d gone and no control over it. (This scenario was shown in the flashbacks, when Rumple *poofed* himself and Bae away from Pan’s bonfire.) He couldn’t take that chance with Henry’s life.
