Timeline wise…confusion.
They all know that they were cursed again. Belle says so in 313 in the first promo we got. So Hook would know everyone is in danger because of the curse but then the green smoke, flying monkeys in town (again promo). So did Hook come from the EF or SB?

Well, he mentions SB, and everyone having been taken back there, so I’d guess he came from there too? Otherwise, how does he know they’re all there?

Yeah I’m confused about that. How would he know they are all in SB if he didn’t come from there? And if he did come from the EF and “got a message” (as one slightly unlegit spoiler article claims) then WHEN did he get here and what has he been doing?

we know that she doesn’t drink the potion here, that happens in front of the jailhouse. So does something else happen here that causes Emma to doubt and have Hook arrested? Does her lie detector go off? Why does she suddenly have the cops take Hook? At the very end of the scene, Emma looks like she is mere seconds away from drinking.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"It’s still unclear the how and when Hook arrived in NYC. Did he come via SB? I’m not so sure about that. How would he have been able to leave the town if he was cursed along with everybody else? If Hook came via SB, how does he remember everyone was cursed? I think he somehow escaped that curse and came to A land Without Magic by some other means.
I wonder if the message that Hook gets (assuming that spoiler is legitimate) is the piece of parchment with the address of Neal’s apartment. Then the question becomes, who sent it?
Sadly, I think the line “I’m not here because of Neal,” pretty much confirms that Hook still sees Neal as a rival, rather than as true friend or a son figure. I still think that Hook came on his own, perhaps against the advice of Snow and Charming. Yet, now something terrible has happened to Emma’s parents, and he’s there to tell Emma. Somehow Hook remembers everything.
I also noticed that Emma again has to “take a leap of faith” and that mirrors what we were saying in S3a about how Emma, Neal and Henry all literally leapt off or out of objects: the boat, the cliff, the window.
