I love that Henry’s middle name is Daniel! Even though it does seem like Regina and Henry are faking the betrayal, I think that Henry really did keep the key a secret from Regina, either to protect Regina or make sure the villains don’t get to the Author first. Finally, Henry has something relevant to do besides being a sounding board for other characters. I feel like the writers need to make more use of Henry, because he’s got the heart of the truest believer. Hopefully, he’ll come into his own this season!

I don’t think his middle name is Daniel. I think it was Regina’s way of letting Henry know she wanted him to give her a fake page. He still has the page and he still has the key.

He would never give in to his mother if he thought she was evil again (remember season 1 Henry?). Also they both seem kinda unconvincing to me (“Oooh Henry now you need to give me that page I’m so angry”, “But mooom… Oh alright I’ll give it to you”) Also Henry Daniel Mills? How adorable. Young Emma looks stunning in that dress.
I think you are spot on! I don’t think his middle name is Daniel and that tipped him off to give her a fake page.

Oh no, that’s possible too. But I love the idea of Daniel actually being Henry’s middle name.

It is a great name and I love the way Regina said it. If Daniel is not his middle name it will be in fanfic…and it will live on forever. 🙂

Now that I think about it…back in my teen years, it would always aggravate me whenever my mother would do that, and now I’m doing the same thing to my kids!!!!! XD #CircleofLife

Yelling at a child by their full name to get their attention is a common parenting tactic, and I can confirm that my own mother would call me by full name in situations like this.

True, true…When the parent says the middle name you KNOW your are in BIG TROUBLE! Although hopefully in Henry’s case it’s Regina’s way of saying “Things aren’t what they seem.” Hopefully Henry is smart enough to realize it.

For me, it’s when my mom says my first name in Spanish. That’s why when I took Spanish in high school, I chose a different name for my class nickname. If I heard Elena daily, I’d think I was in trouble or something.

Oh I still get “Jacquelyn Ruth” when my mom is mad or irritated….
