Literally just had this same thought! There’s a certain finality feel to not just this promo but past episodes as well…like Adam and Eddy are scurrying to tie things up.

How so? Is it because of the engagement ring? This just looks like a bunch of snippets for the season.
If this was the last season ABC would start promoting it as such. Since it’s not it’s probably not.
The writers are clearly wrapping things up because they probably only have a total of 22-23 episodes left in the shows run so they have to start wrapping stuff up. Cause there’s no way the final season will be 22 episodes. It’ll be 13. So they have to start wrapping it up.

I really didn’t get a vibe from the trailer that the show is ending. Yes there is a lot of big stuff coming up, but I would have expected them to sell it much more as being the final amazing episodes if they know that they are cancelling it?

I know they’re not. I got a lot of “we’re gonna answer questions and show fans stuff they’ve been demanding/wanting” hence my comment. But I know perfectly well we’re getting another season.

Ahh, sorry! I do agree that we will probably get a shortened season next year – although who knows? I just find that usually when a show brings in a child that has magically grown up that it is about as close to the end as it can possibly be.
