I didn’t watch the thing, but now it almost seems like Charming is just sleep deprived and this entire episode is going to be pretty meaningless. It looks like it is just George involved and Hook will just be in the scenes so that he can have screen time and not because it makes any sense.

At least this seems to suggest that Grandpapa Charming is dead. I’m really tired of people we thought dead being not so much.

Pretty sure they’re doing a reference to Hamlet with what appears to be his father appearing as a ghost. Other Hamlet references for this episode include the title and one character being named Francisco.

It’s a total Hamlet reference especially since one of the big themes in the play is whether or not Hamlet is actually going mad (or sleep deprived as is the case with Charming)

Okay so I gotta ask: why is Charming so mortified at having Snow wake up? Because he blames himself for Gideon coming to SB? I mean, no. That’s now how it worked. And even if so, there’s nothing he can do and keeping Snow in the dark is pretty terrible. Plus, it’s not like Snow hasn’t caused bad things to happen to people and had to take the blame (she was 10, but telling that secret changed everything). This idea that Charming simply has to solve the problem before he can wake up Snow is…baffling.

Also, correct me if I’m wrong but Charming doesn’t HAVE to kiss Snow to go to sleep? Like, why can’t he just take a power nap and then wake up normal???

I also didn’t think that Charming just wasn’t sleeping. There are other kinds of sleep besides the cursed sleep. It is a pretty stupid plot point.

    2) Wait. Snow’s awake?? So what is Charming’s deal??????? Why is he all crazy for coco puffs if he’s clearly sleeping??

Hey wait, did they just forget about Roland? Is Roland not a thing in the wish realm? Did I miss something?
