This clip just really makes me want to hug Rumple.

So..it takes time for the effects of the spell to wear off. The air around Gold was wavering a bit, but because he wasn’t separated from the object for too long, it remained Rumple. I wonder if the length of time he can be without it will become less the further he gets from Storybrooke?

*shakes head* Yep, yep. Totally. I’ve been avoiding the sneak peaks but just had to watch the airport scene since I’m waiting on pins and needles for Neal to come back. I liked Gold’s reaction to Emma’s calling him “father”. I also love how Henry isn’t afraid of Gold, just peppering him with questions while Gold is falling apart inside. And then Henry being oblivious of all the drama that just went on in that split second of time and like the typical kid gets excited about Cinnabon. 😆

I gotta say, I don’t get the Henry hate going around fandom. Rumple might be the one orchestrating everything and but Henry is the heart of the show. Can’t wait for Nealfire to come back and make everyone connected. What a beautiful mess it will be! 😉

Rumple seems awfully grumpy in this scene and in the other sneak peek when they’re in the car. And I love his face after Emma calls him ‘father’, I was not expecting that.
I have a question though- Do Emma, Henry and Rumple meet Bae in Tiny or Manhattan?

They’ll meet him in Manhattan. I’m thinking they’re getting the travel part of the storyline out of the way in Tiny, so that they can get right into the action in Manhattan.

Just watched it again, and wonder if Emma touching it (and him) right after he took it off had anything to do with the spell being maintained for those few moments? It’s right after she says she won’t let him forget, so maybe she’s thinking, “I’ll just give it a lil bit of my magic touch, not that I know what it does really, but it’s worth a shot.”

I just LOVE how utterly vulnerable Mr Gold is in this scene. It’s perfect. Mr Carlyle is so fabulous at portraying all the many facets of our Rumple. 😀

I LOVED this scene! Definitely the part of this story I’m most interested in right now. I’m more looking forward to how things will connect in the present that looking at too much backstory. Allthough I CAN’T wait for the miller’s daughter ep. That is the one I am most excited for. Besides the Manhattan ep. Ok, really I just can’t wait for this hiatus to be over so we can get on with the show! Can’t wait for Sunday!

Love it! That’s the sort of scene I’ve been waiting for! I love seeing Emma actually help Rumple and see him as vulnerable when she says “I won’t let that happen.” I can not wait for the Manhattan episode.
