Kind of a Shroud of Turin effect going on with the “before” picture.

Haha, it is.  I can see my nose and it looks like my eyes.  I admit I didn’t pay as much attention to stitch uniformity knowing I was felting it so I used it as an opportunity to practice Continental knitting, which I do not care for.  It’s so much slower for me.  I know you have to keep practicing but I like my English throwing method.  I’ve been doing it for a long time and it’s served me well.

I will post pictures when the hat is finished.  I have the ribbon to make the band and bow that goes on it but the hat still needs to dry some more, and I just feel too sick right now to do it.  But I shall post completed pics.  I promise.

Awww, love the hat, Jo!  And your stocking too, KP! 🙂

I’ve just been making scarves again this year but the ruffle ones.

Got my pictures up.  Here is the completed hat.  So proud of it.

There is a picture of a sick Jo modeling the hat on my Ravelry page if you want to hunt it down.  😛

    Jo that came out gorgeous!

Started making my hats for the NICU. They are so tiny and cute. 🙂

Very cute, RG.  You guys are in the Christmas spirit.  Meanwhile, I don’t even have a tree out and don’t know if I’m putting one up.

And I miss my Joann’s.  I guess it will be closed at least into Jan or  Feb (neighboring store had a fire and damage moved to Joann’s).  At least it curbs my yarn buying.

    Great job RG!

I am currently making preemie hats and a scarf for R. He sees me wear them and wants one so bad.

Jo: Just think the Joann will be new and fresh when it reopens. There is always Amazon 😉

They’d just had a major remodelling and grand reopening, too, a month before the fire.  *sigh*

    RG, your snowman is adorable.

I am knitting a cowl.  I was planning on knitting a cabled one, started it, and didn’t like it in the yarn I’m using.  So I picked another design.  This one in the shape of leaves.  I had to go through and rewrite it after reading all the comments and the modifications various people made and doing a sample myself.  So I’m making the pattern, just with every decrease changed and a few others. 😉  It’s in bulky yarn so it shouldn’t take me long.  Will include pics soon.

Also knitting dishcloths for Christmas at the same time 🙂  Can’t have one project going at a time.
