Aurora's pregnancy ?

I don’t get how we learned over half a season ago that Aurora is pregnant and she still hasn’t shown any bump while Snow has much quickly.

I understand Ginnifer is pregnant in real life, but seriously ???

You can sort of see a bit of a bump on Aurora in 319. She wasn’t showing when she told Mulan, and there was only about a week between that moment and when the SBers arrived back in FTL, then by the time of 319, another couple of months have passed, so she’s showing a bit.

Snow looked huge in that scene due to Ginny really being pregnant, but Snow would have been barely a month pregnant at that point, because then they jumped forward 8 months for the next scene.

Right, Phee. Those were my calculations, too. She was at least 4 weeks, which is hardly enough time for some to even know they are pregnant, because two of those weeks that are counted in the process are before conception. And you typically don’t confirm it until 2 weeks after conception (=4 weeks pregnant) even with modern technology. And that’s if you’re actually suspecting it. So I am 26 weeks right now, but really only 24 from conception. So when she told Mulan she was between 4-6 weeks probably if she just found out.

EDITED: Add another month or two onto that and at the latest during that scene she’d be somewhere between 8-16 weeks. (If it’s “8 months earlier, we don’t know how far into the 8th month it was…). At 7-10 weeks I still looked exactly the same. At about 12 weeks I had a little pooch that just looked like fat… lol… I didn’t really even start growing until about 16-18 weeks depending on what I was wearing (looking through my belly  pictures!!!)and even then it took me until 19 weeks before strangers even could tell I was pregnant. So, for me, it is believable for Aurora to hardly be showing at the moment.

What was already said, and each pregnancy is different.

What stressed my mind watching “A Curious Thing” and seeing Aurora and Phillip being turned into flying monkeys: What happened to the baby? Was the pregnancy kinda paused or did Aurora gave birth months later or something else?

I am assuming Aurora was still pregnant. I am 21 weeks pregnant and if I wore a big robe like Aurora wore you would barely be able to tell. Based on my timeline calculation guesses Aurora would be somewhere around 4-5 months. My questions are is Aurora a pregnant monkey or did it kill the baby? If she was still pregnant did Monkey Aurora give birth? She would have been due before the curse was cast. Or maybe if she goes back to being human she will be 4-5 months pregnant still…. her pregnancy got suspended magically or something?

I was surprised they went there with the writing considering they established them as pregnant seemingly unnecessarily and then turned them both into monkeys.
