Well we meet Henry's Dad in Ep 6 – it's just been confirmed by K&H!!! So we shall at least know if he’s Henry’s dad or not 😉
Awesome. Now all that’s left to know is how soon Baelfire will be making his re-appearance. Can anybody dig up the transcript where the writers state that Bae would definitely come back in season 2? Was there any tip-off that he would be coming back early or later on in the season? I’m just trying to put two and two together. 😆

They haven’t actually stated that we’d meet Bae. They’ve stated that we’d find out what happened to Bae this season.

There are so many things the writers could do with him, considering how he has been portrayed over the years. In Tim Burton’s Alice the white rabbit leads an underground movement. So, I suppose Jefferson could have gotten him out of Wonderland for some reason before the curse.

Or pirate radio equipment 🙂
October 4, 2012 at 2:27 pm #155420RumplesGirlKeymasterI like the idea of the White Rabbit, with a revisionist perspective, as the Stranger in NY. The past fews years they’ve done a lot of reworking the Alice story, like the Tim Burton film, and the SyFy channel adaption a few years ago. The only problem is, how did he get to NY? If all the lands were cursed and pulled into our world (and if we assume landed in SB since Jefferson was, we think, in Wonderland at the time) then HOW did a Wonderland character get to NY? Which is why despite liking the White Rabbit theory, I think I gotta stick with Bae. He wasn’t cursed, like Emma and August, so he can move around.

Ursula, that is brilliant!!!! Always thought & hoped that Bae was Peter Pan. Who better to have pirate radio equipment? 🙂

October 4, 2012 at 2:44 pm #155423RumplesGirlKeymasterRumple always has said that Bae was “lost” like a Lost Boy from Peter Pan, so it’s possible he’s either Peter or one of the Lost Boys, with another character being Peter himself (Dr. Whale perhaps?)

I’ve been on Dr. Whale being Dr. Frank for quite some time now and have posted tons of stuff about it based on research Gypsy and I have done. I’ve also been theorizing about Bae being Peter Pat since last Feb. However, here’s the thing about Dr. Whale being Peter Pan. It wouldn’t surprise me. Here are clues that lead me in that direction.
1) Peter was could never be physically touched. The ladies loved Peter (Wendy, Tiger Lllly & Tinkerbell). How ironic that Dr. Whale is the one crazy about the ladies?
2) The Greek God Pan could be quite lecherous. Sound like Dr. Whale? God complex?
3) Peter was always the victor against hook. He also felt misunderstood as no one understood why he didn’t ever want to grow up.
4) Inflated sense of self. Well in the broadway musical, there is a song titled I’ve Gotta Crow. In it, he’s boasting about how wonderful he is.
5) In the movie Finding Neverland, J.M. Barrie says to a young Peter Llewelyn, “Write about your family, write about the talking whale” “What whale?” “The one that is trapped in your imagination and desperate to get out”.
6) He did seem like a young adolescent when asking if nuns date, did he not?
7) Disney is planning on re-releasing Peter Pan and recently did a poll asking people which rock singer best suited Peter Pan. The answer? You guessed it, Sting. (dating video listens to sting).
Have a few more things that sort of tie him in to Peter Pan, but you can see where I’m going with this.
So yeah, wouldn’t be surprised to see Dr. Whale as Peter however, number one theory is still Dr. Franky and hoping that my Bae/Peter Pan theory pans out 😉
