Just watched this episode and I thought it was funny that Rumpel was bottling the various emotions (not only that he said everything could be bottled except true love, but that he had everything bottled except true love).
This made me think of in the scifi version of “Alice in Wonderland” starring Caterina Scorsone as Alice, that was the entire industry of Wonderland (bottling human emotions – they called the human oysters and had them come through the looking glass and trapped them in a casino type place to suck all the emotions out of them, to buy/trade/bottle/use for their own purposes).
Not sure if this is from somewhere else as well?
Also, the whole “bottling of true love” makes a LOT of sense now that we know what power true love can have (Queen of Hearts) and we kind of get how he predicted the saviour would come, etc (in the form of Emma, the product of true love). I’m really interested to know how this potion might be used in the future (perhaps to stand up against Emma as the only thing equally as strong?)… All just thoughts! haha
Have you watched to the end of the season yet? 😆 b/c the love potion does get used.
I saw it last year when it aired, but I was in school and life was crazy, so I didn’t really get to watch it in depth and I forget a lot of the details. I am rewatching now -I am on disc 4 I think, so I am almost done (last ep I watched was Stable Boy).
