Australian actress Emma Booth (Underbelly, Gods of Egypt) has landed a major recurring role on the upcoming seventh season of ABC’s Once Upon a Time, which is undergoing a reset, with new stories and a number of new characters. She will play The Witch who is a wicked as they come.

That would explain why the randomly named dropped an evil south witch in tin man episode. Foreshadowing.

I’m thinking she’ll play the version of the Wicked Witch of the East. Zelena’s story had a Good Witch of the East, so an alternative story must have a Wicked One.
