I think Snow just wanted to go on a stroll and because she’s the princess, she’ll obviously need an escort. Regina probably told the guard/huntsman to go with her and Snow didn’t object so as not to raise attention (and because she wasn’t sure it meant anything. She knew that the EQ wanted her dead. She tells the huntsman that the EQ picked him.).
I wondered what happened between the scene where Snow is hugging Regina by her father’s grave and the scene where Snow tells the huntsman that she knows that the Queen has sent him to kill her. That just seemed like a big change like Snow found out something between those two moments.
Well Katherine said that she had ears in the King’s court, so maybe Snow does to. But in her castle. Someone could have overheard the queen talking to the mirror.
That makes sense. Snow is no fool and to run a kingdom you kind if have to know what is going on everywhere; get all the gossip so to speak. She could easily have a bunch of gaurds stand in different places for hours and then rotate and during the rotation report any news to her.
A gaurd could easily report something like,
” Princess Snow, the queen is after the throne.” Where Snow could reply ” She is responsible for father’s death, isn’t she?” “We can not be certain of that, but she wants you…” “Dead, she wants me dead, just like father so she can have the throne.”
Those are my theories and crazy lines. hope you enjoyed! 😉
