I’m very confused.
When the blind witch attacks Zelena, green magic flows from Zelena into her necklace and Zelena eventually collapses….
Uh….what was that? It seemed so random. I figured maybe the witch was stealing her powers or something but nothing came of it. When the blind dude said he had made a clasp for the necklace I figured that maybe the witch did do something to it and the clasp would come in handy so as to prevent it from being easily taken later but…nothing.
Did I miss something here?

I couldn’t remember if that had something to do with some of the old storyline about Zelena that i just couldn’t remember. The whole the good witches gave her her magic to trap it in the necklace thing, but she didn’t know about that at first and she seemed to already know that, so her magic was already trapped. I have no idea.
The necklace was given to Zelena by Glinda to help channel her magic. Even though she’d had magic her whole life, it basically became the source of her magic. So when the witch damaged it, it hurt Zelena.
Right. I almost think they made the necklace glow just so that we would be reminded of its existence.
