As Season 5 drew to a close, the onetime Queen of Mean made her most heroic gesture yet by splitting off and (seemingly) snuffing her evil side — a development which in and of itself would make for an interesting fall. But given that the Purely Evil Queen in fact survived and must wish her “better” half ill will, double trouble surely is on tap for Storybrooke’s mayor.
[adrotate group="5"]Since this season seems to be Jekyll and Hyde-ing it with the characters eg Regina and the EQ, do you think we’ll see Belle as more Lacey like by the end of it? Kind of like the characters are split into their dark and light sides (So the rest of the cast get to have fun too rather than just Lana) and then both sides are reunited so then you get a more balanced personality?

Keeper of FelixI don’t think so, I think they will stick with just Regina. I do have a problem with the article calling it a heroic gesture. I don’t agree, I think it was kind of cowardly. Part of the struggle we have is accepting ourselves both the good and bad, I think she took the easy way out.

No. As usual most of Belle’s story will actually be Rumple’s while she does little to nothing

Not exactly as “more Lacey like”, but I do hope we’ll see Lacey. I’d like to see Belle experience more power through Lacey and come to understand its allure. Not sure how that’s going to happen if Lacey’s a different person, but still. Conversely, I’d like to see Rumple get frustrated with Lacey’s bad behaviour. It’d help their relationship to walk in each other’s shoes for a bit.
