i saw some gifs of hook and henry, and there is one thing that i notice, hook keeps saying BAE, not NEAL, wonder if they really go with time travel or change the past and bring Dylan and then maybe on the final S4, that i believe is the last season, they will bring MRJ as guest star.

I think Hook never looked past Neal, to see Bae (until that hug apparently). He could never connect to Neal, because he didn’t look like that little boy he once knew anymore. Which might have been the reason he forgot about their past together so easily. Treating him like a rival in “the battle for Emma’s heart”, instead of the son of his former love Milah.

    spot on!

In a way, Hook represents the audience in that the writers didn’t give us a clear path from Bae to Neal.  I mean there are times you see the similarities between the two and see glimpses of Bae in Neal but if the writers had given us a better transition or at least shown us how Bae became Neal, the audience would have been able to connect more.  But Hook has no excuse really.  Neal was the same boy that Hook wanted to raise as his own but then sold to Pan when Bae found out about Hook’s involvement with his mother and father.  I will never forget that Hook did that to Bae.  Ever.

And furthermore, I think Hook has realized this about himself as well. Only too late. Hence his intense (but inner, because he’s a man and men don’t express their feelings, they bottle things up) grief now. He regrets not seeing Bae sooner than right before he died. That’s why I think he calls him Bae so often now.

: Well Hook didn’t see the transition either, same as the audience right? That’s why I reckon he had trouble viewing the man and the boy as one person.

Well 315 showed that even A/E dont see Bae and Neal together, bc for them neal was a thief, broke emma heart, didnt went to look for her after 201, they wrote it, but they never saw him as both, and that is why they put neal dying in a oc and thanking rumple to show him what is sacrifice.

So, is Zelena going to dangle the possible erasing of Bae’s death in front of Rumple in a gambit to get him to willingly cooperate with her? That might, admittedly, be too cruel for the audience, but I honestly think that moral dilemma for him would be more interesting than…idek what they’re doing with the character.

You’ve got a good point there.

Perhaps, but he had ample chances to talk to Neal and find out what happened.  Also there was all that time in NVL that we don’t know what happened with Bae and Hook.  It could have been there that Bae started to become more like Neal.  After hundreds of years with Pan, all your spunk and energy has probably diminished incredibly.  But Hook could have tried to talk with Neal and try to get back on good terms with him but instead of even trying he immediately went into, I’m gonna get the girl mode.  But this is just how I see it.

Just re-watched and paid closer attention to the Hook and Henry stuff this time. Wasn’t entirely horrible, I do think Hook is having some legitimate feels about the situation. Henry’s, “How am I supposed to feel anything about him being gone if I don’t know what he was like while he was here?” That just makes me wanna weep. I wonder if when he said that, Hook made the connection to the situation with Bae and his mother, because Milah left when Bae was very young, so he probably wouldn’t have remembered much of anything about her. I know the stuff Hook talks about is about how he lost his father, but I’m just sayin’, the no memories thing correlates more closely with his mother.

I am curious how many of u are still watching this trash.
I don’t know what garbage they showed last night, and as long as we think bae may really be dead, who really cares?

Are any of you still interested in anything about this show anymore?

It fascinates me how the writers preceive their audience. They say the hell with the storyline, our airhead audience just want to see pretty faces kiss with ” chemistry” on screen.

After all, its TV not lierature or poetry, just TV made for dounces who just want hot chemistry, whatever that even means

I, I am TRULY not interested in this show anymore, but you, even if you still are, I say boycott crappy storylines. Boycott it! Why are you still watching a story that has no substance?

Why is anyone with a brain still interested in a story about FUTILITY AND HOPELESSNESS? we already have real life for that. Just walk into any hospital for the terminally ill…
