Seriously. I can’t imagine that the casual viewer isn’t a little aggravated by this being rammed down his/her throat within mere episodes. No development. No struggles. No cares or worries. Just onward and Hookward.

I have several friends who watch Once but aren’t part of the online fandom who are very upset with the stories as a whole right now. One hates the WW with a passion (she also thinks Once needs to stop introducing new characters and show more of the ones that are all ready there), a few others can’t stand Rebecca Mader, another thinks things are all right overall but the stories are a kinda scattered (she’s not a shipper of any kind so she’s the only friend I have who is actually still enjoying the show), another stopped watching in S2 and decided not to go back after seeing my comments from the Neal death episode, and others just lost interest in general this year. It’s not just SF fans at all who are unhappy with the show.

Good to know. I wish they’d go back to telling the story they started and stop trying with all the gimmicks and pandering. The fan pandering is only appealing to one block and alienating everyone else. The gimmicks are old and reek of bad writing/storytelling.

I don’t know. My mom, who is VERY casual about this show, looked at me last night in the middle of it and said, “I’m bored.”

She thought it was a waste of an hour and that they are doing nothing but going in circles.

My best friend, who ships CS because he thinks it’s fun and flirty, is beyond frustrated. He told me that while he fully expected CS to have a fling, he never in a million years thought they’d actually be endgame because it doens’t make sense for them to be end game. He figured it would be SF all along.

I have officially un-watched 315, and this is how I did it: in my head, it was Gold who was lying dead and Neal closed his eyes. it breaks my heart, but it was acted so well, that oit’s hard to just forget. everyone talks about the funeral, and I saw a gif of Belle putting dirt on the casket, so in my headcanon or headstory it was Gold she was burying. *omg I am sobbing now*

but this way, Gold is still the winner… if Neal is alive and is happy, than Gold didn’t waste his whole life.
everything he did to protect his beautiful child wasn’t in vain.
he didn’t live for nothing. he didn’t die for nothing. he didn’t become a monster who had to struggle with darkness for nothing. and he didn’t lose his ability to be human for nothing (i’m sorry, that scene where he gave up that dagger, his humanness, his ability to control his own actions, he became a tool, a tortured tool, as a desperate attempt to save that child of his… he couldn’t have done this for nothing…)
so even though some powerful scenes stayed with me from 315… I have un-watched it. so my end of the story lies in 311…

also, from all of your accounts, Hook is being set up to be bad for Henry, and it is pretty consistent with how they started it… when Emma said “we were eating [candy] and playing video games… doesn’t sound like such a great mother… Regina would NEVER let him eat stuff that would cause cavities or let him waste so much time on video games… it’s interesting to see where they are going with this, if I would still be watching I’d like to see Neal’s reaction to how Henry is being raised…

And yet, the handling of Neal’s death and aftermath would lead you to believe that there is a huge BOLD storyline they are aching to tell… so much so that they have to rush through important events like the death of HENRY’S FATHER, RUMPLE’S SON, and EMMA’S LOVE. (sorry for yelling, but for real)
