–Two Neal shout outs. I’ll begrudgingly accept them except what should be explored is dealing with this death. It’s insulting to anyone who has ever lost a parent or a child to think that you can get over this kind of emotional trauma in a few days.
I loved the snarky review (and don’t sell yourself short RG…there was more than enough snark in there to make me both laugh a lot and very happy that this show is no longer on my list of shows to watch) but this part right here is what still rubs me the wrong way. We were told back when it happened that Neal’s death was part of some ‘big, bold storytelling choice’ and yet they aren’t even dealing with it on the show. They actually lumped Neal into a group with Graham (who Emma barely knew) and Walsh (a freaking flying monkey) when we know for a canon fact that Neal was SO much more to Emma, especially since you know, they freaking SHARE A CHILD TOGETHER. It’s ridiculous how this show treats death like it’s no big deal for anyone. A close friend of mine from college lost her mom on Friday morning (the funeral is tomorrow) and I know for a fact that she’s not okay about it and probably won’t ever be okay (she still has moments over losing her dad which happened several years ago). My best friend lost her mom years ago and there are still moments where she gets sad and misses her presence. Another college friend of mine watched her husband die of cancer several years and is only just NOW stepping back into the dating pool again. YOU DO NOT GET OVER A DEATH IN A WEEK. I wish someone would write that on a pile of bricks and throw them into the two trolls LA offices. *flips a table* 😮
BTW-I’m glad the board is back up again. I was going crazy not having our haven available for me to rant in or flip tables in this morning, LOL 😉

I think Neal would be there for Henry and support him. Neal also might help Henry with Regina. I can see Neal actually reaching out to Regina to comfort her. Because you know both would be in the love lost department. Neal would tell Regina that if you truly care about someone you would want to see them find happiness. I think Neal and Will know each other and they will exchange updates on where their life went. Neal would proudly tell Will about his son Henry. Neal, Henry, and Will will do some stuff. Neal, Henry, Charming, and Rumple would have a grandfather son moment. I think Neal would help Hook and Charming try to save Emma. Neal would try to help Charming find Anna. Emma will wonder what Neal would think about Hook. Neal would shrug it off and say its her life and she doesn’t need his permission or approval. He just happy that she is happy and hope it works out. He will tell her to trust herself and her heart. Neal would say he is glad to be with Henry. Because he is the greatest gift ever, and Emma would agree. OH MY GAWD this is why Neal is be dead….etc etc.

I have a dear friend who was way behind with the show and wanted to get caught up basically because Frozen. So I gave her all of S3…and now she ships CS…and we had a lively discussion on Twitter where I outlined all the reasons I find it WRONG, and even though she admits she basically likes it because she finds him hot, she still said she has no problem with their dynamic at all after reading my thesis about how problematic it is…and I just…*HEADDESK*
