If that box Rumple is after doesn’t have anything to do with Rumple finding Baelfire, it will be utterly ridiculous. Because we have NEVER seen him do anything that didn’t help him in his journey to find his son. Obviously people asked him for help so he did, but 99% of the time their price would be something that eventually helped him. If he is just looking for a random box for a random reason, then… whatever. I guess I shouldn’t expect this show to hold to it’s foundation. Ugh. So. many. problemmmsssss.

Yeah, like a fungus or a mold that just won’t go away no matter how hard you clean and scrub. He shows up in other tags and even other fandoms. (Supernatural fans have been known to get flaming mad for inappropriate “pirate” tagging.)
