    You wouldn’t get an episode like Manhattan on Once nowadays.

    What made Manhattan work was that it wasn’t about action or the big reveal (since everyone had guessed Neal was Bae), it was about the emotion. It was the episode where Rumple finally found Bae. Manhattan was about the Rumple/Bae relationship which was one of the foundations of the show.

    11 episode arcs doesn’t allow for a Manhattan episode, there isn’t time and that’s a shame.

    All magic comes with a price!

    Simply love this.

    This show from CSI creator Carol Mendelsohn and Parenthood executive producer David Hudgins is based on the highly popular Turkish drama Suskunlar. The show is about an attorney whose rising success is jeopardized when some long-lost childhood friends come forward to expose a secret from their shared violent past. Due to the success of the Turkish version, this show was one of the more highly desired pilots this season.

    Sorry, but i cant stop now.

    NBC has been high on the project, which had a pilot production commitment with a series penalty attached to it. A writers room was set up during the script stage, with the stories for the first 13 episodes already broken. Hudgins, Mendelsohn, Julie Weitz, Oplev, Timur Savci and Tariq Jalil executive produce.

    Just wanted to pop in and say thanks to all of you for the birthday wishes! I had a great day at Disney (it was cold, rainy and deserted) and it was so sweet of you all to think of me 🙂

     

    I don’t know what to say about Once lately… all the news is… um, underwhelming? I’m finding a lack of incentive to keep watching when the only thing I was really interested in was the Author/Sorcerer storyline and I’m not quite sure where that’s going with recent spoilers.

     

    Love you all though! I’ll be back more once the show starts 🙂

    I’m so happy for MRJ’s sake! I hope the pilot gets picked up. Sounds interesting. I’m glad there are already so many episodes planned.

    MRJ made it to Fox….he came just in time!!! All the hit shows seem to be on Fox Nowadays, and I hope his pilot becomes one of them!!!!!!!!!!!
