MRJ’s new project sounds promising, if it’s based off a forumla that they know has worked elsewhere then hopefully it’ll take off in the US market too. Sounds like his character will be kinda shady. Maybe we can have Baevil viariously through this Gil guy. 😉

have to say the more i know about this tv show, the more interesting it looks, and appears that the main characters are all victims of a dark past. The excerpt below is the description of the original turkish show. Really hope this get success and more than 13 epis. This looks a lot like sleepers movie/book, abut a mix of Scandal meets how to get away with murder, lol.

I lost my eyeglasses. I need them to see distance, so I wear them most of the time in public but take them off often at home. They’re in this house somewhere. Problem is that they’re rimless so it’s hard to see them even when I know where they’re at. I’m very habitual with them and always put them in the same place. But I think I put them down changing clothes, forgot to put them back on, then I was flipping blankets and throwing clothes around so they could be flung anywhere. So I’m wearing my old ones that are the same prescription, but feel really odd because they’re smaller and tortoise shell. Perfectly serviceable, but I want my rimless back. 🙁 And I don’t have $500 to go get new ones.

This pretty much confirms what I and several others have been saying for awhile: A and E are actively trying to kill their own show. They got trod upon by ABC and the The Power That Be and now the are retaliating by ending it on their terms since they don’t get to end the show with their original vision. This is exactly what several of us have been predicting.

I still read the fanfiction but largely my love of them is only fanfiction now. I’ve read so many great ones. What happens in the show pales. So am I shocked they’re killing Rumbelle? NOPE. I’ve always had the feeling they never liked writing it but had to give it lip service because it’s so popular. It’s something that blew up on them and exploded in the fandom. But they want to keep Rumple evil, so he can’t be happy with Belle.
I think it’s funny they’re making two different groups of fans angry with this. Rumbelle and ScarletQueen (is that the name?) shippers. And a small part of me feels disloyal that they’re kinda cute together. But I now am fully in the “hate watch” category of this show. I really don’t give a care what is happening on the screen anymore.
And I found my glasses. One the stovetop. I have no idea how they got there. No memory of ever putting them there last night. Argh, I’m going senile in my old age. 😛
