We all must admit though…the episode was funny :3 I really like Cruella. I can already see her shaping up to be how Red Queen was for me. Someone I don’t think I’ll be fond of but turns out to be my favorite. In the end I am already liking this season more than the entirety of 4A and its only been an episode.

The only thing i say is that im free, everything i been saying is happening, i see them retcon everything about Neal, of course that would mean that they would have to mention, so maybe not. i have to say i laugh big time now.

The thing that stood out to me was that everyone in town had a job, a place of belonging, except for Hook. Snow has her teaching job. Regina is mayor again. Emma and David are co-sheriffs. Henry is in school. Belle is librarian. What does Hook do again? He has no occupation except to brood and feel sorry for himself. He is utterly useless. He didn’t even really play a part in Belle’s research about freeing the fairies. He’s just there to breath air and look pretty. Emma dropped him off at the library on her way to work because he has no where better to go.

I was wondering if he’s still homeless. Where is he living? He was sleeping on a bench when last we checked in with him on the domestic front. How does he afford to take Emma on dates or buy her coffee? That’s not sexist, I actually wondering how he had change enough for two large coffees from Granny’s…
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"I have a feeling that Hook is now a kept man who lives off of his girlfriend and/or her parents. How else could he afford anything? Is he in fact homeless or is he living at Granny’s off of the generosity of the Charmings? He didn’t come over in the second dark curse, so it’s not like he was granted a job or a place to live like the rest of the town’s residents. The least Hook could do is get a job as a fisherman down at the wharf. It is a seaside town after all, and he does love to sail. Is he too proud to resort to an honest day’s work? Perhaps he is just too used to plundering and pillaging to get his way.
Also, the way Hook told Belle that he’d been tricked by the crocodile, while totally omitting the fact that he first tried to blackmail Rumple, rubbed me the wrong way. Hook is still concealing the fact that he tried to get the better of Rumple first, but that it backfired on him. How stupid of him to think he could outwit the Dark One.
I’ll add that both Emma and Belle came off sounding really stupid. Belle really believes that a professor of linguistics at Oxford could translate ancient runes from a magical land. Really? How gullible is she? No wonder Rumple took advantage of her, again. And Emma totally defied her parents’ surprisingly sound reasoning about not trusting confirmed villains. How many villains have gotten the best of her now? Her superpower is broken, or never really worked. Emma has had to be saved a lot more than she’s saved anyone (e.g. by Rumple, by Regina, and then by Elsa).
