She says more than just that, like Emma feels that hook is the only one for her, he is the right one for her, Colin says that they are connected and he is the only one that never abandoned emma, etc. To the Jen words that @WR mentioned must say that even some Csers didnt liked those words and then teh saga went on and Adam got in to fights with both Csers and Sqers, bc he said that was Jen idea but ws nt the way they were writing the show, even tho she Jen said that was they way the writers were writing emma hinting that she doesnt agree but that is how she played it, Adam said jen was wrong.Really messy that ended with him deleting all tweets.

After reading what JMo actually said in context, I actually think it might have been a backhanded compliment. Maybe she is just as perplexed by Emma’s recent choice to put Hook ahead of Henry. It seems like she might be trying to distance herself from her character’s choices by emphasizing she is not to blame for the writers’ decisions so as to avoid conflict with fans who aren’t ardent supporters of CS.

Yeah, when Jennifer says things like this you know she doesn’t really like Emma and Hook together, in my opinion. She just doesn’t know what to say about it and there is no in depth analysis to have. She has to say they are in love with each other, but she knows it doesn’t really make sense, but she can’t say that either.

I think she commented on it just fine. It’s hard, they work at it, it’s not easy. Like when couples go to therapy to fix things. They are just constantly fixing things haha. She’s saying it’s real because it isn’t easy, because it’s never easy. Whether you agree with it or not, that is what she’s saying. It’s not like she froze and said no comment…. Just trolling trying to find instances where the actors don’t even believe in what the show is telling us. There are much better examples of this than this in my opinion. This seemed fine to me.
After watching the interviews Jennifer didn’t even say that Colin did. I don’t think Colin thinks about his character the way Jennifer does. Jennifer does research and such and has a whole head canon backstory about Emma. I don’t think Jennifer likes Emma and Hook being together. I think everything about the way she brushes it off suggests that and how she has no real explanation about what is happening with them except they are in love and she can’t live without him, but she didn’t write that. Everything about how it all went down back then makes me think that she doesn’t like it. They all liked Neal with Emma and said so on twitter and were upset when MRJ went off the show.
In the end we go back to PR and selling the show and how u say things to sell it that makes them look bad, bc u can sell something, but the minute u use the wrong words to sell it, things may get messy
There is a thing i didnt mentioned before, but Jen was at some Con, like 2 weeks ago, and when asked by fans if she saw Neal and Hook in UW who would she save? She said she would save both and she would keep both, bc if rock stars can have lots of girlfriends, why cant Emma has 2 boyfriends at same time? This i must say was creepy, bc she answered this to a 7 and 5 year old brother and sister. She talked after also how she would love to have Emma meeting Graham, Neal andHook in UW, that way she could have fun with the 3 of them. This sounded weird thing to say in terms of PR, but then after she also said that from all show so far in terms of scenes, she liked snow and emma scene in 303 i think the Lost girl scene, the Hook and Emma 511 scene where she kills him, and one scene she could not say, but was on 512 and people would see right away why she loves that scene. There was a diference while she was talking about the show and when she was talking about ships questions, whne those questions were made she got defensive, someone also asked her if she ship CS and think Hook is the best for Emma and she said in resume that she knows all those ships exist, but is her job simply act what is written on script, so she is simply doing her job, so she doesnt ship anyone, she only works what is given to her, and at this moment Emma is with Hook.

I’m pretty torn in regards to how JMo feels about CS, honestly. There are interviews where she presents herself as super into it and super into Colin. You can read it as having to shill a product but why not be consistent? Cause then you do get snark comments like “I didn’t write that” that call into question how much she enjoys her leading romantic storyline.
