We played a game called Once Upon a Time today. DSB literally played the following cards for a story:
Once upon a time…
There was an orphan
Who was happy
Because she fell in love
Until they parted ways.

Now that Henry will soon have the author’s pen back, it actually opens the door of possibility for him to write his dad back to life. I’m not saying it will happen, but it would be delightfully delicious if the darkest of dark ones and his grandson teamed up to use their combined powers for good to bring back Neal.
(I know, wishful thinking).

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"What with Henry searching for his dad and Neal inquiring after his son but there being no direct father-son interaction in 5×12, it makes me even more curious to see if we’ll at least get one scene with Neal and Henry. Also, it makes me wonder what Rumple is up to in the UW and what he is doing in NYC in 5×22. While there could be a handful of reasons why Rumple would return to NYC, going to Neal’s apartment makes the most sense.

We had Hook sending this anonymous ragamuffin out into the world to find Emma and tell her where he was or whatever, and saying he KNEW she was really there to get him because he JUST KNEW and ugh. I mean, if you love Captain Hook and you are just enjoying this and Colin’s hair, please, don’t let me stop you. Someone has to be enjoying this. But for me, personally, I’m having a hard time with his soulmate connection to Emma when the last time we saw them together he wanted to destroy her. Just me? Maybe just me.
It’s not just you, Lily. As usual, Lily is so on point when it comes to the bipolar writing of Hook’s character. It’s really sad how the writers can totally nail it sometimes (Emma and Neal’s car scene or Henry Sr. and Regina’s farewell in 5×12), yet utterly fail in just the next episode.
