ParticipantDid the test even say Emma had to be in True Love? Or did it say she had to have a heart filled with true love? Because i agree, you could replace Hook with anyone and it would have had the same outcome. And plus with Emma being True Love incarnate, it really doesnr prove anything. Doea anyone feel like the writers are avoiding an actual TLK?
I have a theory that the writers like the fans wars because those give the show attention, so they’ll keep it as ambiguous as possible so the fans could keep fighting on everything.
They pretty much write the show based on fans’ reaction at this point.

ParticipantI’m actually bracing myself for Henry’s death… His death would further the CS agenda, by getting rid of the last reminder of SF. Then, Belle would name her baby Henry, making him the third Henry on the show. I’m scared.
Henry’s death would destroy SF legacy, it will drive Regina further into villain mode and Emma will be broken (because suddenly she will remember she has a son) and Hook will come out good by hugging her or whatever.
Henry is the only anchor keeping the Evil Queen Ship at bay…if he dies, there would be no question whether or not Evil Queen would return….but more than likely, it wouldn’t stick because Regina even knows that Henry wouldn’t want her to stay evil and more than likely would just have a nervous breakdown/depression that maybe Zelena would have to help her come through…

ParticipantTo me it almost feels like Emma’s never fully gotten rid of the darkness, which seems to, among other things, ramp up the obsessive, selfish, and “addiction-prone” sides of a character’s personality. From the fact that she was still hearing the dagger, to the way they are doing her make-up, to her utter obsessiveness with Hook, there’s something a little… odd about Emma. And the whole “prophetic” dreams thing. What if it’s not just a MacGuffin? Is it possible that she’s still harboring some sort of DO left-overs?I would actually really, really like this…. I’ve been waiting for Emma to shake off the trance-like-monotone and pallor for weeks and I thought that once Hook came back she’d be a bit back to herself…? But it seems from the sneak peeks she’s still really subdued and broken….having more darkness still inside her might seem repetitive but it would be worth it in terms of logistic satisfaction, imo.
Plus I would really enjoy more of DarkEmma plot that aims at more of a character study of her, singular.

ParticipantHenry: “Every time it looks like we could be happy, magic just comes in and wrecks it! … In case you both forgot, magic took away my dad!”
Preach, Henry!

Like, I know in my head it’s total SQ bait but …. it was very good bait.

It is, but I’ll gladly take this kind of bait (that feels real, and emotional, and worthy of a pairing with five years worth of progress) over any half hearted attempts at an ILY and a face-suck (no, seriously. Emma could barely get the words out to Hook during that final scene. More side-eye)

The season finale was the only time in this season I felt like Emma was really Emma and that’s thanks to Regina, along with Henry and Rumple.

It was like this:
Emma: I love you.
Hook stares at her. They kiss.
Meanwhile, the scene that made me a SF fan:
By the way, wouldn’t last night’s episodes have made more sense if Henry had mentioned that Tamara had done this stuff, not Neal?
Also, this:
Hook: Emma, you did it!
Emma: It wasn’t me. It was Henry!
Hook stares at Emma. In his mind he’s saying, “Oh, well then.”
