In case that there were any doubt, Rumple just confirmed that Neal’s second chance isn’t with him but with Emma and Neal! Neal point blank said in 3×3 that Henry and Emma are all he’s got and that they’re his second chance!  They are his happy ending, just as he is theirs! Can there be any doubt that Neal, Emma and Henry are a family? As Henry said, Henry’s family “always finds each other”! And Neal said to Emma that if there’s one thing he knows about her, it’s that she doesn’t stop until she finds what she is looking for! And what has Emma always been searching for? A home! And who does Emma consider to be her home? NEALFIRE!!!!!

Can there be any that Neal, Emma and Henry are a family and family? As Henry said, Henry’s family “always finds each other”!
And even when she doesn’t remember the past 2 years, Emma Swan does what she always does: subconsciously reverts to her true identity and life. As a girl she got her father’s crest tattooed on her. And now, with changed memories, she is living in the city where she found Neal again, waking up at 8:15 (a total SF family thing that is, by JMo’s own admission, not a coincidence), and playing the song that introduced us to Nealfire.

Precisely! Emma and Neal are meant to be! Even though a curse once separated them, we can also flip that statement on its head and say that if it hadn’t been for the original curse, Emma and Neal never would have met. Emma and Neal are no ordinary love in the sense that fate and destiny brought the together! In other words, Adam and Eddy have planned from the conception of the show that Neal, the reason for the dark curse, would meet and fall in love with Emma, the savior of the curse! It’s poetical, and Adam confirmed via Twitter that that’s exactly what they were going for! Not only have Emma and Neal been planed since S1, but in the official podcast for Manhattan,  they said that their story is about showing how two people who love each other but were separated can work it out! If you don’t believe me, listen to the official podcast for 2×14 for yourselves! Emma and Neal may hit road-bumps, fake-fiancees, portals, pirates, and curses, but no matter what, destiny brought them together in the first time and destiny (aka Adam and Eddy) will bring them together again!. *Believe in Second Chances!!!!!!!!!* Plus, if Neal doesn’t deserve a second chance, then NOBODY does, because Neal has a heart of gold (as does Henry). Neal sacrificed his own happy ending for the sake of everybody else getting a happy ending! No one deserves a happy ending more than Neal and Emma!
