I agree with Mickstemp’s assessment. My first reaction was to question who’s missing? The absence of both Rumple and Neal seems strange to me. I think it is a funeral (though can’t be sure), but the question is whose it is. Would the writers really film a funeral for Baelfire, the long-lost son of Rumple, without the father present? That seems highly suspect to me. Perhaps this is a memorial service for Rumple and Neal can’t make it for some reason. Who knows?

Also….MRJ said his #AskMRJ is at an odd time, “but round here lies madness”…which could be because he’s still filming for 3×17. Also, he added a cryptic “Bwahaha” which could be in keeping with his #Boom from last Friday when he let it be known he was indeed still filming. Could MRJ be giving us subtle clues to laugh in the face of speculation and/or misdirection? One can hope!

So I was just sitting here looking at this gif…
…and thinking how neither one of them have had that carefree, happy existence since they were together. They need to get back to that place, and I believe they will. A day will come when present day SF will have one of those blissful, easy, happy, giggly moments, and please excuse me whilst I melt into a pile of mush just thinking about how sweet and beautiful that’s gonna be. 🙂Hugs to you Lisa, am sorry for your loss. Is it me or does anyone get the nagging feeling we are being trolled aka played by A&E. Yes let them think its Neal, lets even have a fake funeral. Yes fandom think its Neal. Then Boom. Neal is not dead. What if the “Neal death” is a trap or a set up. For some odd reason I feel like we are being punk and A & E and the whole cast are laughing it up. I also doubt Neal no Swanfire Necklace on Emma that would be dead give away there is trouble on the front.

I wouldn’t be completely shocked if they filmed various death related scenes to throw people off. RG mentioned in another thread several days ago how they once did that on LOST, filmed a scene with a person in a coffin with several different people, so that the actual truth of who it was wouldn’t get leaked. The cemetery scene could be anything though, and even if it WAS a funeral, that doesn’t mean it was Neal’s. For all we know, Gorham’s character gets struck down in the street scene. And there’s the never ending speculation that Happy’s gonna bite the big one because of the Twitter drama. Basically, the cemetery scene could have been any number of things.
