“Super not crazy about it” was such a perfect response. I feel like that phrase needs to be worked into my daily vernacular to describe anything that really sucks. LOL

As for people saying that Neal’s disposable, I feel your rage, RG, because frankly, even if you don’t ship SF, if you think it’d be no big thing for a 13 year old to lose his father (again), that’s just straight up heartless.

As for Rose’s interview, we dunno exactly what she’s seen in the way of speculation, but considering the massive amount of doom and gloom and people practically already digging Neal’s grave, I’ve gotta think that she’s seen some of that because it’s fricking everywhere. So while we probably shouldn’t put much stock in what she said, it certainly didn’t make me feel like Neal’s the one.

Rose’s interview is like a tiny ray of sunshine peeking through the cloud. I hope we can take heart from her words that the actor isn’t one she’s heard people assuming. I know she may not be knowledgeable about what fans’ theorize, but then again, how can she not? It’s all over Twitter. I suppose I shouldn’t get my hopes up too far though lest she be covering her tracks.

Something still doesn’t add up in my mind regarding the photos of the “traveling jersey” taken on set in 1×16. Firstly, why, would an outside fan be granted on-set access to filming on the day the funeral of a major character were filmed? Secondly, why would that person then be permitted to take pictures of the set location when two series regulars were missing. Rose was filming that day, so she’d be privileged to know what was going on. I’m still really confused.

I am totally confused. part of me thinks some people are right—the evidence is stacking up. And we come here and talk about how we haven’t seen August and how many unasnwered questions are left when it comes to Neal but then I look at the show as a whole and realize that A and E are doing that all over the place. Question after question that doesn’t get resolved for the sake of mythology. So maybe it’s true that Neal shouldn’t die until his flashback with August is explored but at the same time, A and E have shown that a lot of times they’re just going rug sweep.

I am still wholly nervous.

Its totally true that we don’t really know anything for sure and maybe there is some random evidence piling up for our guy (most of which I don’t believe to be honest) but that seriously doesn’t mean anything since we know no context, no storyline, and we don’t even really know how the whole second half of the season is going to go yet. We have to take any reports (especially those from random tools on Twitter) or photos with a HUGE grain of salt because we just don’t know anything for sure yet. This hiatus is SO HORRIBLE now that they released the spoiler that shall not be named because all it did was cast that huge cloud over what should be an enjoyable show for us and make everyone nervous wrecks. I guess those folks who don’t really care one way or the other about Neal are just like whatever but if you are a fan of him or the show as a whole, someone who sees the big picture, his or any death whatsoever affects the entire show and not in a good way, so this spoiler just created anxiety for those fans and it’s not going away anytime soon. That’s how I feel anyway and I resent A&E and ABC for leaking this spoiler out because it didn’t do anyone any good and I’m about 90% sure they’re regretting that decision. This fandom has never been as divided as it is right now and that’s what makes me the most sad. It didn’t have to be this way.

I’ve decided that I’m going to start doing everything I can to not let the spoiler that shall not be named ruin my hiatus. The Olympics start next week and I’ve been looking forward to that for a long time now so I am going to unfocus a little bit on OUAT for those 17+ days to save my sanity and just enjoy all the stories, winning, heartache, and pure enjoyment that come from watching all these athletes push themselves to the limit and do everything they can to represent the USA in the very best way. GO USA!! 😀  (It helps that I know or at least have met several of the US figure skaters who will be going over there so I’m super stoked to hear more about their adventures and see them compete on such a huge stage. :D)
