KeymasterYou guys remember the Zimbio quiz about Which ONCE character are you?
This is apparently one way to get Neal.
Spoiler Alert. How to Get Neal (at least, one way):

-Reality/Game Show – Maury Povich (Ha!)
-Morning Person.
-Dwarf – Doc
-Type of Friend – The Shy Guy
-Reading Material – Spy Novel
-Carnival Ride – Ferris Wheel
-Weapon – No Weapon (Magic Coconut was not an option!)
-Happy Ending – Ending Up with Soulmate (Swanfire!!)
-Job – Being my own boss.
-Ice Cream – Vanilla
-Animal – Dog (duh!)
-Believe in Magic? Yes.

ParticipantI understand what you mean about Emma’s choice being taken away from her with this whole spoiler that shall not be named but I have hope that she might make a choice before it happens (wishful thinking on my part probably but it could happen). I kind of hope that if Hook is the one to go that it is something they’ve had planned for a while because that actually makes sense if you look back on things. Colin was made a regular right around the time that they were working on getting the rights to Peter Pan. What if they actually got the rights around that time and they made him a regular to make sure that they had him around for their Neverand arc? Now that the NL arc is over, maybe this was in their plan all along, that Hook would do something heroic to save his ‘stepson’ or even Rumple from another big bad and prove that he really does have Good Form. It would help him get back to that Navy man that he was so long ago. It could be a really meaningful story if they do it right and it also might allow him to regret his previous bad actions and ask for forgiveness from those he hurt. I don’t know if they really realized how popular Hook would get so this whole plan could have been their mindset last season planning for him to only be around up through the NL arc. I bet they’ve had to modify things a bit this year with all the CS stuff (and ABC and the media going bonkers over it) but it wouldn’t surprise me much to find out that this was something they had thought about for a while. They do plan out their whole seasons at some sort of writers camp thing in the summer and it would be a shocking death if it ended up being one of their ‘popular’ characters. I don’t know. I’m just tired of everyone wishing that Neal was dead and harping about how he sent Emma to jail (SERIOUSLY, can we get this whole story told soon so people shut up about it?!) and claiming that Hook is ‘reformed and a better man now’ while excusing all his past deeds. That doesn’t work for me. Harp on Neal’s flaws all you want but you darn well better acknowledge that Hook has his own flaws that he hasn’t even apologized for yet. ARGH. Between the Triangle of Doom and the spoiler that shall not be named, I’m going to be an anxiety riddled wreck up until I get distracted by the Olympics, LOL 😆
Saw this over on Tumblr and felt like sharing it here to rock out some SwanFire feels with you guys tonight. Sorry for the grammar here but just remember that I copied it from someone else. 😉

omfg whenever you rewatch OUAT season 1 and there’s an episode with little Baelfire and he’s just so sweet and kind and goodhearted to everyone, now do you just think while you watch those episodes, “one day that little boy with a life full of pain is going to grow up and meet someone who makes him unconditionally happy.”

Answer: and THAT, my friends, is the beauty of swanfire. that they both had terrible childhoods with abandonment issues. they aren’t perfect. they made mistakes. neal made mistakes. but they love each other. and that’s what it comes down to. even emma says it, ‘i love you. i probably always will.’
because dude, NEAL was the first person she ever loved. and though he hurt her, you better believe that he also gave her a s**t ton too. he showed her that she was CAPABLE of love. and he learned that HE was capable of love. it’s just such a tragic love story and they have had so much pain in their lives but when it all comes down to it, they love each other, man.

Gah! So lovely and simultaneously so painful! ‘What’s 28 years when you have true love?’

ParticipantLOL! Slurp, you and I were posting the same thing right around the same time! I loved that saying about Neal and Emma too. There was another one by that same user that gave me feels too…
omg and emma saw home in him that’s why she never cared whether they slept in a car or a motel or heck, on a bench in the parks. wherever he was, was her home so she didn’t really care where they were or how much they had

ParticipantRumplesGirl wrote: This is one of the things I hate most about the death spoiler. It’s taking away Emma’s choice in her future mate. If it comes down to Hook and Neal and Emma was going to make a decision eventually but then one of them DIES before she does that, her choice is now gone. She is no longer in control of her own destiny and life. It’s you end up with the alive one because he’s the one left standing. I hate that. And if Hook does die and she ends up with Neal…we’ll never hear the end of it.
Precisely. And to me, Emma losing Neal and ending up with Hook would make it seem like she was settling for her second choice. Last time Emma thought Neal died, she was devastated and tried to distract herself from her grief by making out with the pirate. Yet, come light of day, what remains? I don’t see what foundation they have to build a home on or what they even have in common. Is Hook really going to dismantle the Jolly Roger and come live in a home made of brick and mortar? Is he really going to be Mr. Monogamous and Step-Dad of the Year? I have a really hard time stomaching it if that is the direction the show goes. In my estimation, it sends the wrong message to viewers that says, “Good guy who lived a hard lives dies a miserable death, while that poor man’s quasi-step-dad who’s always been selfish ursups his place to get the family nice guy always craved. Moral of the story: it doesn’t matter how much of a bully you are for hundred of years because one week of good behavior is enough to make up for it. Is that the message that A&E want to teach children? Isn’t there enough of that crap in real life? If that happens then I can’t in good faith keep thinking about the nose-dive the show takes.
Agreed Slurpeez If they go in that direction and kill Neal and she ends up with Hook I believe that will send a very wrong message to fans that, even though you are a good and honest guy despite having been wronged as a child you have tried to live a good but hard life despite all kinds of odds now when there is a real chance a happiness for the future in the end it doesn’t matter because death is what you end up with and the one who wronged you child is able to just come in take what is yours without so much as I’m sorry that I’ve wronged you twice in a lifetime but I’m to selfish to not just take what I want and what I want is the life you were were supposed to have sorry about your luck. I can’t believe that Adam & Eddy would build this family unit up only to destroy it by purposely not giving them the happy ending that they so richly deserve after everything they have been through. To me that is destroying Belief, Hope, Faith and Love in in one swoop. That doesn’t seem like that is the type of message that they would be wanting to send to fans and the children of fans.
