KeymasterWhat an amazingly candid interview from J-Mo! Thanks for typing that up, Phee. 🙂 What I get from that interview is that 1) Neal’s arrival in NL is going to throw Emma for a loop (and in a good way I predict) and 2) Emma may be flattered by Hook’s overt flirtations, but she’s having none of it now since her goal is saving Henry. Swanfire has real hope!
NO WHITE FLAG! NEVER!

Keymaster. @alwaysrumbelle its complicated because hook reminds her of neal #tinkerbell #askonce #uglyducklings

JMo tweeted this during the live 303 broadcast. I had put it in this thread but it got lost with our freaking out.

ParticipantI wonder in what way she meant that? Reminds her of him in that he has a certain characteristic? Reminds her of him in that he’s the only other person there who has a history with him? Reminds he of him in that he’s constantly offering her drinks, and the first time she met Neal in the stolen Bug, he hit on her by immediately and insistently asking her out for a drink?

KeymasterReminds her that she just lost Neal, in the words of Snow? I don’t know. There are a great many ways we could take that.

ParticipantApparently the CaptainSwan Fans are going to be to tooting there horns at us SwanFire Fans on Friday because of a picture that is in the new Entertainment Weekly according to Sandra at http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/10/14/bones-arrow-ncis-vampire-diaries-spoilers/2/

Speaking of romance…sorry if I’m being a big tease (that’s kinda the point, right?) but Captain Swan fans should pick up the issue of EW on stands Friday. There’s a photo in there that you’ll want to see. That’s all I’m allowed to say for now.But I’m not worried about it based on what Jennifer had to say at NYCC and in that candid interview posted above. I think that picture could be something she teased at comic-con remember ?  “It’s always fun when you kiss someone”
I have a feeling if it is a kiss that it is initiated by Hook and not on Emma’s part at all remember Jennifer has said repeatedly that Emma is focused on saving Henry from Peter Pan

KeymasterFirst, I’m not worried about this picture because I think it’s probably just Emma and Hook looking at each other or something. *shrug*
Second, I don’t think the CSers will be “tooting their horns at us SFers” because we’re all rational human being who have very strict boundaries on this forum. We pretty much established them right after the CSF thread went…can I say stupid? They will fangirl/guy out over in their thread. We’ll talk about it here. If anything, it’s a spoiler pic to analyze and I’m all for that. They don’t gloat at us and we don’t gloat at them. It wasn’t like after 302 they stormed our thread chanting “CS! CS! CS!” and it wasn’t like after 303 we stormed their thread saying “SF! SF! SF!” And in fact if that ever happens Imma lose my mind. Different interpretations, that’s all. They are more than welcome to sing the praises of this picture when it comes out. It’s their right.

Keymaster. @stephsanchez26 depends on if Neal finds his way to Emma again or not #tinkerbell #askonce #uglyducklings

(in a fit of boredom I went through JMo’s tweets from the live viewing of 303)

ParticipantThanks for sharing those tweets. Now that we know for sure that Neal is in NL, I have faith we’ll be seeing that swan necklace again someday. Also, the fact that Emma both wants to slug and snog Neal is encouraging. It’s a love-hate sort of relationship (which is always good for keeping attraction alive). Mostly, though, I think Emma just loves Neal, even despite her best efforts to deny those feelings.

ParticipantI am fine with Emma struggling with her feelings and to understand everything that has happened. The more they show this on screen, the more believable it is that she does love him, and they are building the relationship again, piece by piece and step by step.
That’s the symbolism of the Phoenix. It makes its own pyre, dies in it, and an egg hatches inside it and it is reborn anew. Emma and Neal’s “swanthief” love died. They went their separate ways, but they carried a flame for each other. That tiny spark ignited and flared up (like a bonfire!) for a brief moment as he fell through that portal. Then it simmered back down inside of Emma, though Neal is still filled with that love.  I was happy to hear him say he knows this is his second chance, that he screwed up. Before their “SwanFire” love can really be a full-fledged relationship between them, they must both come to grips with who they were, who they are, and most important, who they want to be. I think they both want their son and to be home with the people ( not just one true love soul-mate) who love them.
“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” -- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass
