Emma + Baelfire = Swanfire

ALso this is not a happy post so please don’t read if you don’t care to know and its spoilerish.

Its not about who is going to live or die, if swanfire is true love or not. Its about at this point in time (Because I am bitter, mad, and sad) I just thinking why bother anymore. That even if Neal lives, Swanfire is true love. I will still am considering not watching it. That’s where I am right now. There are other shows I am watching that can make me far happier and far more pleasant experience. And all honesty. They don’t truly care about all of their fans, just a select group. sorry ranting, and raving. Because this just made me so sad. This show use to bring me joy & hope, where is that joy & hope, from S1 and S2. I’m not being entertain.

I wrote this in the chat, but I’ll add it here in case it’s beneficial to anyone else. Rumple is half-alive (?). Yet, his happy ending remains an illusive, seemingly impossible dream at this point. Belle and Neal represent a happy ending for him. So, maybe Neal and Belle can’t be on the poster which shows Rumple because that would be too much of a “giveaway” at this stage.

Perhaps they thought it would give too much away to show Neal and Belle on the Oz side with Rumple. So perhaps we should see it as a positive that Neal and Belle WILL be going after Rumple, and they’re trying to keep the surprise of that under wraps. But then why have Rumple at all, considering they’ve been really cagey about giving away any info about him? And there’s still no reason for Henry to have been excluded. So even if I try to convince myself of the logic about Neal and Belle, that logic doesn’t apply as a whole, so I just can’t buy it. And really, if this composition would have given too much away, they should have just bloody well come up with a different composition so that everyone could be included. Move Hook over more on the SB side and have the middle panel be a space in between worlds and have Neal and Belle, and maybe even Henry there. It just makes no sense that they left them off completely.

if they wanted to be secret about stuff, they wouldn’t have a character who just “died” on one panel. So the idea of being cagey about the Belle/Neal story doesn’t add up because they’ve just spoiled that Rumple is totally alive for people who doubted. It doesn’t make sense to leave them off completely but it’s also not the first time. They were the last to get character posters. BUT they were included in the S3A NL shoot. So this really is a giant slap in the face.

Ah, if only Rumple were real. There’s no way the promo monkeys would leave his TL, his son and his grandson out of promo if they had the threat of being turned into a snail and stomped on hanging over their heads.

It probably doesn’t mean anything, and it doesn’t make me feel better, but I find it interesting that @OnceABC hasn’t officially tweeted that panel out to everyone yet. I wonder how much backlash they’re dealing with right now. Forget the SwanFire fans and our small little corner of the universe, I’m sure the Rumbelle fans are the ones crying foul and having hissy fits the most over this and they should be plenty annoyed just like us. Someone on Tumblr posted a picture with Neal, Belle, and Henry around Rumple on the third panel and it actually looks really good aside from their color schemes not being as dark as the rest of that panel which could easily be fixed (I tweeted it out so you guys can find my username and see it there). I am SO TIRED of ABC and their ‘promotions’. They will be lucky to get any ratings at the rate they’re going because they’ve honked off a few too many fans now. I ranted over in the other thread so I’ll spare you guys more of that but I am still so frustrated by this turn of events.

BTW: I still don’t think Neal is the character to die and honestly, the panel kind of confirms that for me. The death is supposed to be shocker but if it’s a character they couldn’t even bother to include in the promotional stuff for S3B, then what type of shock would that be to anyone? My money is still on Hook and I’m not basing that off promotions, pictures, or any BTS stuff…I’m basing it off of STORY which is what A&E have said about it several times now (the death comes from the storytelling). If they go any other direction with it or it turns out they lied to us, I’m done with this show all together. I don’t like being lied to about anything, period.

  Remember my little theory about Henry, Belle and Neal being the supporting character “love interests”?  I think its still a valid explanation for why they are not on the poster.    They are supporting characters, doesn’t mean they are expendable characters.
