#Hope. The more I think about Baelfire’s story from beginning to now, the more I think about Emma’s story and even my own relationship with my husband, the more hope I have for Swan fire. Really. The truth cuts through the lies and the unfounded claims SO DEEP. And the truth is, the foundations in this show have been laid since the beginning. The beautiful, poetic story. Stories of family, forgiveness, love. *sigh*
That one video posted a few pages back of Rumbelle/Swanfire was amazing. It really portrayed so much depth of relationship. I’m amazed at how the actors can portray that. But it just made me feel the love inside I have for my husband. He’s my best friend and I adore him so much, on so many different levels besides romantic. The bonds we can have with another human being are so powerful.
That scene with Belle hugging Rumple after she got her memories back.. it just shows that bond. No physical or romantic attraction even mattered at that moment. What mattered is that they were both alive, okay, and together. Romantic attraction is important, but there’s so many other things that add to the initial attraction throughout the years. The more you experience with someone, the greater the bond. Emma has still yet to come fully to terms with the fact that Neal was giving her her best chance. That he DIDNT call the cops. If she can embrace the truth despite the pain she has from what she thought was the truth… that foundation for their relationship is super strong. They shared so much that nobody will ever understand. It is beautiful. She will always love him.Oh p.s. it’s our 4th Wedding anniversary today! 😀
