I totally get Odyssey vibes from SwanFire. I mean Cerci is like Tamara (entrants Odysseus into staying with her though she uses magic and…turn his men into pigs) but it’s always Penelope and Telemachus that drives Odysseus on his journey. And along the way there is some fate, some prophecy, some missteps, and even some very loud suitors who demand that Penelope give them the time of day. Hmmm.

O__O It’s almost like the writers of the show have actually studied ancient mythology or something! 😉

the more I hear that things are being painted dark days for Neal, the more  I lean towards the spoiler of doom is not for him. Neal said he will never stop fighting and Fate is going to keep him at his word. The fact that the cards are stacked against Neal means there most be Neal has strong story arch to work through. Besides if it was Neal, I think more positive things would be happening with him. He would be the one a the door, he would be the one bringing Emma back home. Redeeming himself, being her hero. So if he was to go, it would be heroic and epic with some sort of closure for all, Neal, Emma, Henry, Rumple. It seems none of these things are happening at this time for Neal. In fact it seems more problems might be coming his way. And problems have to be solved. And I can’t see that happening in 3 to 4 episodes. It seems whatever is going on with Neal would be a major set up for season 4 and perhaps introduce the next big bad of season 4. That’s just the vibe I am getting at this time. Adam is just too excited about this for me to believe he will have Neal just die alone and with every one he loves & cares about mad at him.

that’s a really good point! Why give Neal a big meaty story that is deeply personal and psychological if you’re just planning on making him leave 4 episodes in
