Hook does say that he can tell that Emma knows something off—well what if “what’s off” is that everything now is reminding her of Neal and not necessarily the bad stuff. Something is lurking just outside the corner of her mind–that Neal is not a bad guy and that she loves him. Too shippy?
As far as I’m concerned, nothing is “too shippy” when it comes to SF. 🙂

did you guys catch him talking about their first date? It was apparently very sassy–with Emma being overly hostile and wanting nothing to do with him, but him winning her over with something sweet. Remind you of how Neal and Emma met? Her being a little hostile and belligerent, him winning her over by helping her out with the cops and being sweet?

YES!! This is what I *do* love about Hook. He’s saucy and sassy and A PIRATE. That’s the Hook I want on my TV. But a woobified love interest with no spice.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"Ok crazy headcannon can’t remember if I put it out there, but what if Wicked used Neal’s blood to make Monkey Man into a man, and that’s part of the reason Walsh was able to woo Emma so easily? Maybe Z even stole away Neal’s memories and part of the reason for sending Walsh was to torture Neal 😛 (though I don’t know why she would care so much now, but who knows what drives her just yet, if she’s like Pan, equal opportunity mess-with-them villain even if primary target is Regina).
