Random before I go to bed but don’t Neal’s boots look like male versions of the ones Emma wore in the first few episodes of season one??! I just noticed that tonight. 😀

And seeing Neal in FT land clothes like that right before I go to bed will definitely give me sweet dreams. 😉

I had almost forgotten about the spoiler of doom in light of several revelations from 3×12: Emma confirmed she moved to NYC, Neal’s hometown, because of a fire. Henry talked about how his dad had abandoned him and Emma. Emma’s good dream is her normal, happy life in Manhattan. Rumple scarified himself to save his son to give him another chance at happiness, just not with him. Neal’s story is all about second chances. Belle reassured Neal he’s going to see Emma and Henry again, mirroring what he told them about it not being over. Those are not coincidences. There is no way Neal is going to drop dead while Henry doesn’t even remember him and Rumple is presumed dead! What kind of ending would that be? Plus, Neal’s story is just getting started! He and Belle teaming up to save Rumple in order to get back to his family is the sort of stand-alone, meaty plot for Neal and Belle that we’ve all been waiting for! There’s a reason Emma and Neal keep saying they love each other: it’s because they really do! And as we know, true love can break any curse.

I find it interesting that A &E said its the fairytale of Emma and Henry, because I would sworn it was the fairytale of Emma, Henry, and Neal since all three of them are their OCs. But I agree RG. shipping aside Neal is important not only to Henry but to Emma. Because if Neal was the one to subcome the spoiler of doom, its only going to affirm what she thought that she never gets a day off. I also doubt they will have Belle reassure Neal that he would see them again just to rip him away from that. Why give this character a quest, determination, and hope just to killed him off in 4 to 5 episodes. Just remember that its always darkest before the dawn.

YUP. They know it. We know it. Adam and Eddy know. Just sit back and watch the magic.

That’s like Ariel getting eaten on her way to Eric

I laughed out loud, when I read this. That’s the best example I’ve seen so far. Yeah totally agree with your statement.

Ah I love looking at FTL costumes in general but Neal’s, takes the cake…

I also really like the call back to his younger years. Costume dept needs an Emmy.

    WOW.

We often hear that Dylan and MRJ look nothing alike and that hurts with the whole Bae = Neal. But you look at them like that…yup. NEALFIRE.

Nice catch about the boots. Belle’s got a pair just like them, too, and she’s a big supporter of Neal’s desire to reunite. There you go. 🙂

Had a chuckle when I looked at the HD version of his still and noticed Neal’s ftl boots have a zipper to the side. Seems redundant when you have the laces right there. Easier for the actors for practical reasons obviously but it did give me pause given that this is supposed to represent a different period without modern conveniences.

I didn’t even notice the zipper! But yeah, now that I see it: those are really Emma’s boots from S1, but in FTL style. Nicely spotted again Heather
