Especially loved the post from slurpeez about Emma’s wardrobe. Honestly, since seeing the BTS pics of those plaid pants, the only thing that could console me was that they were so similar in pattern to her Tallahassee dress. LOL
Speaking of costume stuff, that pic of MRJ, Gabe and Colin, I don’t see the red vest on Colin, so is this not of a scene from the missing year? (I’m making the assumption that they’ll keep Hook in the red vest for all the missing year stuff to distinguish him visually from present day Hook.)
It’s got my brain ticking over, because if that’s a pic from present day, but there’s a Dwarf looking Dwarf-y, and Neal seems to be wearing his FTL stuff, yet Hook’s got his present day clothes…what’s up with that? Could it play into Neal having been held captive somehow? Or just trapped somewhere? Were there others with him, like at least one Dwarf? And is this a really recent pic of a scene where they’re all found and rescued? But then there’s the pics we got of MRJ and JMo around the heater, which implies Neal was back in SB with them at some point at least. But that could have maybe been a dream sequence of some sort. Maybe if Neal was missing, Emma tried to tap into her magic to try and locate him, and she envisioned him in regular clothes because she hasn’t seen him in the FTL clothes? GAH, I dunno. All I know is, Hook’s not wearing the red vest in that new pic, and it’s making me all kinds of suspicious.

count me in as suspicious as well. I wasn’t until you pointed out that Hook isn’t wearing his red vest which is the only vest he wore in 312. It could be from 313-317 but why would be filming with Gabe and MRJ when Hook went off on his own….

So if this isn’t from 312 – which I don’t think it can be due to no red vest – and if Hook didn’t interact with any of them during the missing year, then this has got to be post NewCurse…right?
if 320 takes place on a farm in Kansas then it’s safe to assume that its flashbacks do as well. So what do we know (this is going to be ramble-y. 313 = lost year (Regina); 314 = lost year (Charming); 315 = Lost year (Belle/Neal)–could be from here if Hook caught up to them, but again no red vest and why the random dwarf? 316 = far past or lost year (Witch centric)–unlikely that it’s from here; 317 = lost year (Hook centric–but if it’s the story of what happens RIGHT AFTER 312 then for continuity he must be in the red vest and not with MRJ or Gabe); 318 = long ago (Cora/Rumple/ect); 319 = who knows?! But most likely a straight up Oz story; 320 = far past (but in Kansas? Dorothy?). And that’s what they’re filming now. So…yeah…Post New Curse might work? I don’t know….

We can’t see the lapels, but behind his head there’s a little bit of black that looks like the coat’s collar to me. And considering how cold it is up there, it wouldn’t make much sense for him to take layers off after he’s done filming.
I’ve been wondering if 320 might be a Neal centric, because eps with one word location titles tend to feature him heavily. If so, and if he’s been missing, then this would be a good ep for them to find him in, so if this is a recent pic, that could be what it’s of.
What I’m thinking now is that Neal and various other people have been missing since the rest of them got back to SB, (goes along with what Snow says in the promo about missing people). Why they’re missing, I dunno, maybe Zelena wants to keep Neal away from Henry, because he’ll be the key to breaking the NewCurse, and him re-discovering his father’s love could be the thing to break it? Anyway, they decide to use magic to try and locate them, but they need talismans for the missing people. So Emma goes to Neal’s old room at Granny’s to find something to use to track him with, and she ends up finding the swan necklace. Emma has a dream/vision of Neal, where she says to him that they’re gonna find them. Thereafter, Emma wears the necklace as they continue their search for the missing group.
In order for this to work with that pic, Neal, Sneezy, (poor Sneezy, he’s the Dwarf version of Neal, the crap always happens to him, first the town line memory loss, now this), and whoever else, wherever they were trapped, they were trapped in their FTL forms. That probably means that they were trapped in FTL, or at least some magical realm. So then the question becomes, if this pic is recent, and they’re just being found, how does the search party get to them? I suppose we dunno if anyone other than Hook would have been in the search party, and we know he had a way to pop over into our world in order to get to Emma, so maybe he’s able to pop back as well, after they figured out where the missing people are?
This speculation is based on a bunch of assumptions, so I could be waaaaayyy off, it’s just where my rambling thoughts are at right now.
Maybe it’s just me and the fact that I’m tired today but I think that pic is just a random behind the scenes pic that Gabe (that is Gabe, right?!) posted to Instagram because he felt like it. I don’t think it has anything to do with the current or future story. It was probably taken during the filming of 3×12 or 3×13 which is why he’s posting it now and didn’t post it earlier. Just my random guess though! 😉
My boss is away from the office for the rest of the week so YAY that I can be around here a little more during the days again!! 😀
Mad props to the costuming department for their continuity on Neal’s FT land outfit! Until I saw those pics side by side, I never would have guessed that Neal and little Bae are actually wearing the same scarf. That’s awesome and talk about attention to detail! I also agree that Dylan and MRJ definitely look a lot more alike now that Neal is rocking the FT land outfit. Maybe this will help all those people who haven’t been able to see them as the same character because the similarities are unmistakable now. I still kind of love that his boots match Emma’s from season one (wonder if hers have a secret zipper on the sides too, LOL) and that the flower on his scarf looks like her wrist tattoo. Nothing is an accident on this show! 😉
