The way Emma looks at Hook is like her lie detector is going off, or that something is off with the story he told Charming and Snow White. Just look how Emma furrows her brow like she can tell Hook is lying.
I noticed the same thing when I did my rewatch just now. She’s looking at the ground going, “that’s not what you told me…”
I’m not convinced that Hook is working for Zelena but he is keeping something big from Emma.

I’m not convinced either way, but I wouldn’t rule it out either. Rebecca Mader said in an interview that Zelena does have romantic feelings for someone from her past. Might that person be Hook? I suppose the person could always be Neal, but that seems less likely to me because Neal was in A Land Without Magic and seemed to be surprised that Oz is a real place. Hook, however, said he’s sailed to all the different realms. Just a thought.

That’s very possible. I think Hook knows what has happened to Neal. He even told her in 3×13 not to worry because Neal always has a way of turning up.

That’s interesting! Ariel sends a bird (Skuttle!!) to Hook. But how does Ariel know about the Curse? And why send a message to Hook?

Emma’s furrowed brow probably means she doesn’t buy it either. I think what Hook told Emma the first time about only being able to scavenge enough potion for one person is a lot closer to the truth. Emma believed him that time. Of course, Emma’s lie-detector doesn’t always work (she dated a flying monkey for heaven’s sake), but for some reason, I was as convinced as Emma seems to be that Hook isn’t telling the exact truth in 3×13.

I’m not sure what I think of Hook, he may no more then he is letting on or he just may have been duped.
Part me excited for some possible NEmmAL interaction, but I to have doubt and fears. I am only human. But perhaps JMO and MRJ were just teasing each other with the behind the scene shot. Perhaps they are two different scenes, maybe they will speak to each other via dream sequence or mirror or crystal ball. Who knows. I just going to resort to my cautionary hope.
I would love to see protective paternal Neal watching over Roland if those two were separated from the curse. But Roland may be in town at the SB nursery.
I still can’t get over that comment by Emma wouldn’t be the first time I dated a flying Monkey. She was references Walsh but she was also speaking of Neal in the romantic sense. JMO says up to Neal was force to leave Emma, her time with Neal was wonderful. This is something I’ve always said. Neal was good to Emma and Emma was good to Neal. They love each other and took care of each other in a world that constantly rejected him. Neal was not some cruel or abusive boyfriend. Abusive boyfriends don’t make your face light up with pure joy the way Emma did. And it not just how Neal treated Emma, its how Emma treated Neal. Those two gave each other something that they were lacking; Love, Hope, Family and a sense of Home. The way Neal face lite up when Emma told him she love him. He had a look of surprise and Awe. She loves me this great beautiful girl actual loves me and wants to be with me! Me, of all people Me. Is this a dream. Later On when Neal left Emma and he met up with August. He said I was trying to lose myself. He had love and he had to leave that love. Not only leave that love but break that loves heart and he was certain she would hate him for it. I think those were some dark days Neal where he felt he was back on the streets of London or the cave in Neverland.
Okay this is my shipper heart speaking but it was as if Emma was thinking I can deal with Neal being a flying Monkey, and still love him. She was the one that mention date, when Neal said lets just talk. Emma is showing hope that she wants to see Neal again. Unlike last time where she was hoping this was trick because she want to run away from the pain. Is Emma Swan considering to deal with the pain and overcome the hurt to reconnect with Neal. So much so that she doesn’t even care that he might be a flying Monkey because she would deal with that and get him back. Emma Swan’s always gets her man even if he flying around as a flying monkey. Okay now I have this hilarious image of Emma lassoing Flying Monkey Neal and holding him down while she tries to talk sense into him.
Darnit I just want to see Emma and Neal be happy and be a family with all of their family. Those two lonely lost souls deserve a happy ending because the only happy ending they ever wanted was a family and home to call their own!!
