    No pretty but a musing concerning something that bother’s me that some implicate Neal as being abusive to Emma, which is a pretty harsh and unsubstantial charge.

    JMO said up to the time that Neal was force to leave Emma was wonderful.
    I stand by this that Neal and Emma was good to each other. They treat each other with love, compassion, and respect. Neal supports Emma and fights for Emma. But he doesn’t agree with everything she says and does, which is normal.

    I think that’s why Neal leaving hurt Emma so much. She couldn’t understand why he left or “set her up for the fall” It made no sense to her. I think a part of her knew or wanted to believe there was more to the story.

    If Neal treated Emma poorly, if he was abusive or cruel to her during their time together. Emma hurt would have been less because she would have expected it. It was the fact that they did love each other, is what made it hurt so much.
