Emma + Baelfire = Swanfire

A few pages back there were some posts speculating about the apparently-maybe-316-funeral. Ever since we got hints that Little John would turn Monkey, I’ve suspected that that funeral (if it even IS a funeral) could be for him. They have no way to turn him back, and he might get crazy and/or violent and he’ll end up being killed. Sorta like a rabid dog having to be put down.

I began, really, after the episode the Return when we learned how Rumple lost Baelfire. I just *knew* Bae and Emma somehow met and had Henry. Then my “I will go down with this ship” feelings began with Broken because the second I saw Neal I screamed “BAE!!!” I just knew. Then Tallahassee happened and I was like, “yup. It’s true love.” For me, Tallahassee showed that Neal was the exact same as Baelfire. That despite the crap he had gone through (that we had seen up until that point) he was still a noble, good hearted, kind, generous, sweet, compassionate man who would sacrifice everything for someone he loved. With everything he has been through he could have turned into a villain, but he didn’t.

I dunno if I was truly on board until Manhattan, but the moment he came back to face his father to help Emma, I was on board. And while I agree that Colin is smokin’ hot as Hook, Neal hugs look amazing. Plus I love the way he treats Henry.
