Also, I became more angry while brushing my teeth. Because:

And Emma didn’t even get to make a choice. her choice was taken from her by some idiotic magical handwaving of plot and magic.

Could there possibly be another forever death later in the season? I mean, the TVline article is merely repeating A&E from earlier that there  would be a forever death and then drawing the conclusion that THIS is said death. Is there a confirmation that MRJ has left? From A&E?

 

Or am i missing something reading, looking for any way out? That they telegraphed this death and that so many ppl “predicted it” gives me a spark of hope.

I’ve lost 2 grandfathers in the past year. This show was seriously an outlet for me. I don’t want to watch a fairytale with no happy ending. This isn’t what I bargained for when I first fell in love with Emma and Henry. 🙁

The article does say that MRJ is leaving. No word from A and E but I think it’s for real.

Add in the fact that we haven’t seen him since this episode…yeah. It’s over.

Maybe it’s just because I haven’t watched it yet, but I’m totally stuck on denial, because it sounds like it was handled SO fricking poorly that I’m finding it hard to believe that A&E would actually do it, so surely there’s gonna have to be some twist later in the season.

My husband thinks it’s a total trick to set up for another exchange later on. Since it’s just so absurd in every way. Even though that would be the 2nd Bae resurrection. But you know. Makes more sense than this, to him. Giving it to a crappy writer midway. It’s just logic to him. IDK though. IDK…. Because I need to just have closure (which is SO hard to have because of how crappy it was written and it like hardly moving me at all) that’s why I may not watch the rest of the eps til after the finale.

I had to leave chat because I just couldn’t keep myself together much anymore but I did read a few things from Schmacky on Tumblr earlier and she was in just as much  shock as the rest of us. Poor Katie is going to watch the episode tomorrow and not know what hit her. I have been DMing with her via Twitter for a while and I told her that I would warn her if something happens. It hurt my heart SO MUCH to have to send that warning DM to her tonight. I will let her know tomorrow that we’re keeping this thread open so she can come here anytime for hugs or venting.

Someone please explain to me how I keep watching this show now that they did such a horrible thing to such a good character and a good man (MRJ). No way did he want to leave on his own unless he was getting annoyed with the writing too (and I wouldn’t blame him for that). I’m at a total loss. I’m now at a point where I want Emma to end up just with Henry and that he is her true happy ending. That’s all I’ve got right now. 😥

BTW-I sent a strongly worded but nice sounding tweet to Adam telling him I was disappointed in them for what they did tonight, and I sent a tweet to MRJ telling him I missed him all ready and that I hoped he would keep us up to date on his projects so we can continue to support him. I really need to binge watch Terriers this week just to heal my poor heart from tonight’s atrociousness. 🙁
