No parent ever expects to outlive his or her child, no matter if he is a boy or a man. There is no way to mend a wound like that, even if time can lessen it, to a degree. Even if Rumple and Bell were to marry and have another child, Rumple’s heart would always ache for his BAEby. The death of his son makes Rumple’s sacrifice seem somewhat more in vain. Rumple gave up his life so that Bae could have a second chance at happiness, just not with him. Yet, that second chance just became like vapor. Rumple isn’t going to be able to live with himself, you’re right.

I am so… flummoxed… right now I cannot even be logical. I am literally laying in my bed shaking from shock/anger. I am such a bundle of emotions I apologize for the lack of cohesiveness in this post. What WAS that we just watched?

I just… I can’t. I can’t. This episode was so – I don’t know – fan pandering doesn’t even begin. The first few minutes – Hook “apologizing,” the keychain, Belle calling SF TL – it felt like going down a checklist of fan demands.

Of all the things – of ALL the things – the one that has me ready to weep hysterically is that THEY MADE EMMA KILL HER TL. WTF?! He died at her hand! How does she ever recover from that? Hint: she doesn’t. They have just ruined that character. They screwed Bae, they torched Emma – not even to touch Henry. How could they have ruined them all so callously?

The tears have started & I can’t stop crying. I rarely, hardly ever cry and this has done me in. It’s just such a crock of… badword that we can’t say. SF aside, this was my favorite show – really the only thing on TV I care to watch at all – and they ruined it. Not the ship, that’s its own issue, but OUAT jumped the shark tonight. A show about happy endings, second chances, hope and true love… showing that life sucks & then ya die. How do you trust them about anything, again, ever?

I am holding out hope for the fake out, I am curious if we are reading the same Matt M article, as I don’t read the as definitive. I am waiting for follow up twitters and exit interviews, but in the meantime it hurts so bad… to get screwed by my favorite show and know that it is likely ruined, forever.

Just heartbroken over the whole thing. That’s what I get for allowing myself to ship, to trust TPTB. Ironically enough I now feel that I identify with Emma & Neal more than ever.

 

 

Cause this story needs some mending & a better happy ending...

my denial is also causing me to try to read something here. I need these comments, interviews, and confirmations… I need something to help me make sense of this catastrophe.
