ParticipantIt is odd. They’ve had Cora back for Wonderland, Graham back for flashbacks. Heck, they even had Eion back for August flashback and he supposedly left on bad circumstances. But this is so final. Not coming back for flashbacks or anything again.
I do wonder, but then it’s Adam’s and Eddy’s show, not MRJ’s. It looks more badly on them since MRJ just performs the lines given to him.

ParticipantIf he had to die, Neal needed to sacrifice himself for HENRY. His SON. To do the right thing for HIM. As Rumple sacrificed himself for HIS son. This is not about sons and fathers, it’s about fathers and sons. Making amends, showing love through sacrifice.

ParticipantOK I’ve watched it now. The thing that pisses me off is they tried to make like it was only in the moment he died that Neal realised what is was to make a selfless sacrifice. Really? The guy who has sacrificed himself how many times already for the good of others? Really?

Neal is the new Tamara.
Let’s forget he ever existed. Watch. Zelena will be Rumple’s daughter now

Yup

ParticipantNeal: It’s supposed to represent our life together.
Belle: “It was born of true love.”True love. What should have been but now never will…
Do you think MRJ is leaving on bad terms with Adam and Eddy? Normally, when people have left in the past they try to bring them back–example Graham back in flashbacks. But didn’t they say they wouldn’t include MRJ on the show again? I’m just trying to make sense of such a senseless episode and why they would give a character that is one of their own original creations such a crappy send off. Even Graham’s death was written better than this.
Don’t think so. They were tweeting with each other earlier. I think MRJ asked to leave.
That’s good to know at least. I have no explanation for why this was handled so badly then…..
I really wish they would of written his character off in a way that included time with Henry and not vilifying him. Oh, well I will keep watching the show but I don’t think I will trust the writers to write a good story after this.

ParticipantHere’s something else that makes no sense and makes me mad. Zelena couldn’t control rumple if Neal was outside of him and dead. HELLO. FIND A WAY TO FIGURE IT OUT WITHOUT KILLING NEAL AND HANDING THE DARK ONES POWERS AND CONTROL OVER TO A WICKED WITCH.
What they did was far worse than what they gained. They released the DO into her hands all the while killing Neal. It was SO POINTLESS.On another note. Take a look at this picture of a younger MRJ. Amazing resemblance to Dylan Schmid.

ParticipantThe only good thing that came out of this episode was that it was confirmed by Belle that EmmaxNeal are true love.

ParticipantThey want to minimize or forget about Hook’s misdeeds. No surprise they should forget Bae’s heroism.

Don’t know what you’re talking about. Neal has never sacrificed himself for anything. He was clearly selfish his whole life.
Oh wait

If it was story driven then it was the worst conceived story ever
