ParticipantI can’t believe this.. Neal can’t be gone.. he just can’t. He was a good guy and deserved so much better. This isn’t fair!
Emma has lost his TL. Again.
Henry has lost his father. Again.
And Rumple, MY POOR RUMPLE, was forced to watch his son die before his eyes! All the efforts he made to find Bae and make sure he had a chance at happiness were in vain. This is just WRONG!
I had a birthday on saturday. I really didn’t need this crap right now.. I didn’t need it at all!
There’s better be a good explanation for this..
I think I’m gonna curl up in my Rumbelle bubble for the rest of the season and stay there. I just can’t give up on them, so I’m not going to abandon the show completely.. but if/when the third season starts in this country, I think I won’t be watching..
Anyway, big hugs to all my fellow SF shippers! *group hug*

ParticipantCan we just be here with each other today? I can’t bring myself to care about 316 at all.
Yes, please, can we?
I don’t care at all either. Seriously. I have zero interest. It’s not about a ship. It is about the principles of the entire show that got me watching in the first place. Theyre gone. It is amazing how I don’t even care what happens now.Keeper Nealfire's/Bae's scarf, Henry and Neal's bribery ice cream sundae, Baelfire's sword, the coconut map, and more.

ParticipantI wish we all lived in the same area so we could have a support group for OUAT Broken Dreams.

Participant*HUGS THREAD*
Someone else said it here I think and I agree– I hate mourning fictional characters because I feel like an idiot— but this was so much more than a character. It was a moral, it was a foundation of hope and truth. It was that little beacon of light in the dark that told you everything would be okay in the end.
That’s an excellent way to describe it. It’s not just about one character, it’s more far reaching than that, and it’s got people disillusioned about the entire show and the message it’s supposed to be sending, which is a message that many people connect and cling to on a personal level, not just a fan level. And, like, did the whole fandom just interpret the message of the show wrong? I find that hard to believe. This car crash of a situation they’ve written themselves into is so spectacular, which is what keeps that voice in my head saying that everything surely CAN’T be what it seems on the surface. A&E may make slip ups now and then, but surely they’re not completely incompetent?
BTW-I’m with you guys on the half wanting to have hope and half hoping they don’t bring him back because of how craptastic that would be writing wise.
I posted in another thread, dunno if I mentioned it here, but I do think there’s a way they could write themselves out of this and bring him back without it feeling completely illogical. Because if Rumple was never actually dead in the first place, then it doesn’t really make sense that Neal would die when they switch places. If Rumple was just stuck in the Vault, but not dead, then logically, Neal is just stuck in the Vault, but not dead. The disappearing vs not disappearing bodies of Rumple and Neal is where this line of thinking falls apart, but seriously, if Rumple wasn’t dead, and was able to be sucked out of the Vault, then by rights, the same should apply to Neal.
Problem is, even if they DID go that route, the destruction to the fandom that has resulted from them dropping this bomb of Neal “dying” is such that people may well not be interested in seeing their explanation.

ParticipantAnother random question: When Rumple turned the dagger over to Zelena in the EF scenes to save Neal and he and Neal merged into the same person (I’m assuming that happened then), where did they go? Did I imagine that they just poofed into, well, nothingness in that scene or did that actually happen? That was early in the year that they were in the EF so what was going on with that weird Neal/Rumple combo person for the rest of that year? They were still together when this new curse hit but I want to know what happened in that year. I feel like this episode gave me too many random questions that I fear may never get answered now. WHY DID THEY GIVE ME TOO MANY WEIRD QUESTIONS??!
I am seriously not okay today. I’m alternating between sadness, anger, despair, annoyance, depression, and being absolutely honked off dumbstruck over that episode last night. Why won’t anyone say anything on Twitter?! Why are we not getting confirmation?! WAKE UP WEST COAST.

I have no idea. Was the curse cast at that moment? Did Belle not go tell them that Rumple was back and had absorbed Neal (omg…yes I just typed that idiocy)? did they not try to get him back?
This is the dumbest plot ever.

It’s dumb, it’s rushed and makes no sense. But a lot of season 3 made me feel this way lately. I don’t want to be rude towards A&E and towards their staff but really, the writing have been horrible. Even if it was Neal less, I miss season 1.
Plus really Neal and Rumple fused?! I don’t know it seems just wrong. I love my mom, mind you I wouldn’t enjoy such a predicament.
I really don’t think I’m gonna watch 3×15, at least not today ^^
