I think I can pretend that the show ended with 3a. Emma’s true love is Henry. They had a happy ending.

But the fucking worst was the line about “I understand you have to sacrifice yourself for the ones you love” F…. that, sorry for the swearing, but SERIOUSLY?! Didn’t he do that when he LET HIMSELF TAKEN BY THE F… SHADOW TO SERVE THE DARLINGS?!

And that time he was willing to give up the only world he knew for the sake of saving his father’s soul. And that time he let go of Emma’s hand over a portal so Henry wouldn’t lose both his bio parents at the same time. Even if they do have a way to undo his death, I’ll never forgive them for allowing that line of dialogue, and I don’t intend to ever watch that scene again. Even if things end up happy and sunshiney for SF in the end, and I re-watch this ep for the nicer moments, I’ll be skipping that scene because that line just makes me irate.

Yeah that should have been the series finale.

Extreme OOC. GOD. This was what I feared too. They’d go and retcon his character. Watch: suddenly!! he’s not really Baelfire!! He’s an imposter!!!!!!!!!!

I just heard from Daniel. He’s going to make sure I am there to talk about Neal’s death from a Neal fan and a SF perspective.

We’ll all be thinking of you and sending you strength to get through it!

If anyone wants to start typing up exactly WHY this death was poorly handled and insulting, that’d be great. I know the general gist, but if I can bring in some of your guy’s perspectives…then it’s not just SAD!RG being SAD

Hey all. Took me a while to catch up on all the posts.

Nobody deserves to die like Neal did.  Just because you make a few mistakes in your life, it doesn’t mean you should die in the middle of the woods without even being able to say good-bye to your kid.

And of course you don’t deserve to die RG.

I don’t know what’s going on with this show anymore.

And what’s up with the callous, snarky remarks from people in chat today.  If their favorite died in a character assassinating way, would they be there all, get over it it’s just a show and move on.  I understand that some people didn’t like Neal or just didn’t care one way or another but to belittle our feelings and our thoughts because we cared for this character… I just can’t.  And it’s not because Neal is dead.  It’s HOW he died.  If it was done well with a point, with a real reason, like to save his son or Emma and there really was no other way, I can accept that.  But this.  For a ******* name!!!  Really!?!  That’s the only possible way to do it?
