*hugs* It was pretty crushing. And in an ep that blended some of my favorite stories outside of Once, too. I dunno what could make it better at this point, but I’m not ready to give up on the show yet…I still love too many of the characters.
So many characters should be destroyed by this… Rumple’s lost his son he’s worked so hard to reunite with (or save), Emma’s lost her TL, Belle has to watch Rumple, Henry will eventually get his memory back, etc. The question is will they? Or will Neal go to the land of lost toys like so many others before him. Heck, like everyone before him?

Fear not. I was just looking for a different image. I will always have the dream of Tallahassee, but I felt that holding onto the old image was only causing me to hold on too much. I’ve accepted Neal really is gone. Instead, I’m just showing my support for MRJ, with his lovely smile.

Several pages back, someone (TheOnionGirl?) asked what would make me/us come back to the show.
I’m not leaving but the way I view this show totally changed. I love redemption stories. I support Regina, Rumple and Hook getting their happy ending. What I don’t support are the good guys either becoming idiots–hello Charming family–or dying pointless deaths–Neal. Graham died to show how serious the curse was. Cora died and realized how much she loved her daughter. Greg and Tamara (FREAKING GREG AND TAMARA) protecting Henry from Pan.
Neal died so that Rumple could say a name. That’s it. Something the Charming family would have figured out if they opened their eyes and the writers weren’t turning them into idiots. I mean come on, Charming!!! You drank tea from a perfect stranger, of whom you were already suspicious, and then had a fight with FEAR.
WHO DO YOU THINK THE WW IS?!?!?!?!
This is what angers me. They’re focusing so much on villain redemption that they’re turning the good guys into complete morons.

He deserves it and honestly, I find myself wondering about how he really feels about the show right now too. He was always so positive and he did tweet a lot of great things throughout the series, but they really did drop the ball on him somewhere in the middle of S3. No way was this planned right from the start of S3 and I am STILL bitter that only Sean tweeted anything to MRJ about him leaving the show. Seriously!? If they’re all such great friends, some of them better say something to him soon or else the rumor mill will start up again.
Meh. I’m finally really detaching myself emotionally from this show and I really am finding my jaded side in all this now. And I’ve also decided that I’m not changing any of my icons or signatures here. I want to remember all the good times for Emma & Neal and let those images be the ones I hold onto from now on. They’ve always had a special story and in my mind, it ends happy with them finding Tallahassee together.
And I actually have a headache today. I think I’m more emotionally spent today than I was yesterday because it’s been two days of on and off tears and those always give me a headache. Ibuprofin here I come…

I haven’t proofed it, I just typed it up in an email form to get it out of my mind and onto this forum. Just copy/pasting it to share. It actually helped a little bit. Also, because Tangled.

She knows he holds no grudges for Walsh, because he’s been there too…
She knows that they totally get each other in that respect…
As well as in so many other respects because they still get along like old times…
And she knows that he honestly, truly, has no expectations from her…
She knows for sure that the “date” at Granny’s really wasn’t him pressuring her…
She knows, without a shadow of a doubt, that all he wants is for her to find happiness…
And having lost him the way she did, she now knows and can admit to herself and everyone else, without reservations, that having him back would make her happy, because she’s NOT gonna lose him again. I need this in fanfic, if not the actual show.Exactly. What would be a lovely story is if he comes back and all of this time she loses him so much to kind of jolt her into reality: QUIT DRAGGING YOUR FEET, let go of the past, and don’t ever lose him again. Because it could be gone in an instant. THREE TIMES. Gosh, I’d think after the last time she would have already been there. Because that’s character development. To go from the portal and the I love yous, to kind of brushing him off when he is ACTUALLY ALIVE, it just doesn’t flow. That should have been when she learned the lesson. But instead NL was THAT hard on her? Ugh.
But yeah, a great story would be him coming back and her never letting go. Because she’s made the same mistake three times now when all HE has ever done is sacrifice for HER. She keeps losing him in death. Over and over. 1. fake death 2. real death to her but not to him and 3. real real death. I just really makes me angry that he’s died so many times. Come ON. I get it if they were setting up for something larger like that. It’s like every time he dies the walls come down a little bit. Like it’s what she needs to snap out of the rut. *frustrated with Emma*

COME ON. People cannot honestly tell me that they weren’t set up to be endgame from day 1. THEY CAN’T. People can interpret things differently. That’s fine. But you can’t twist words and you can’t deny what is shown on screen as fact. Tallahassee…. the way they introduced us to him… everything.And the whole “Well, Belle is not an authority on true love” thing… Really? This is a TV SHOW. Not a detective show. Unless the person is a villain, you can pretty much bet that the writer has made this person say this thing so that way WE KNOW IT’S TRUE. It’s kind of how we know ANYTHING by watching a tv show… there’s no narration.They have to communicate ideas to us SOMEHOW. It’s like when Aurora was telling Emma that she thinks Hook cared for her… but it was CORA who was saying that through Aurora’s heart to try to mess with them. It wasn’t even HOOK! And yet, they always use Aurora as an authority saying AURORA could tell. ??? And Belle who is not being controlled by a crazy murderous villain witch is suddenly not trustworthy? This is a television show. That’s how writers’ communicate with us and they expect us just take it and not question it, unless obviously it’s from a villain because that’s just COMMON SENSE.
Well I was doing really really well when I woke up. I woke up at 3:30am and was doing horribly 🙁 Felt so sick about it all. But this morning I felt a little better. Now I’m just stressed again but not sinking back to what I was last night. Just super super stressed. Because it just doesn’t make sense.
p.s. It’s really sad because I don’t know that I will ever be able to do a rewatch again. Just thinking about it is way too painful. I wish I would have never watched this past ep and just quit the show beforehand and never heard anything else about it, ever. That’s really really sad that it’s come to this.

If anyone hears from her, please let us know because I’m definitely concerned about her. I think Schmacky actually changed her username on Tumlbr because I’ve seen a few posts over there that I swear are from her but the name is totally different. Personally I think she’s really upset about this episode and just hasn’t been able to write about it yet.
