Going off Adam’s replies on Twitter, it’s just 508 that is 2 hours. Not two separate episodes. So pretty much what they did with ‘Smash The Mirror’ last year I’d say. Hoping he clarifies further though.

Okay. I’m hoping that become more clear; making it 508 and 509 together made sense at the time because they filmed them together, but maybe it is just 508. I’ll change the thread title so we’re not all confused.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"Wait, so the two hour episode is the Merida / Mulan / Ruby teamup? And it’s all 508 “Birth”? Because 509 “The Bear King” sounds like a much better excuse for Merida to team up with two other experts in animal transformations!

Appearently now he (they?) considers STM as one episode. 508 and 509 are going to air together. So he (they?) Consider 512 to be the 100th episode, but technically, 511 is the 100th episode. I’m sorry if anyone is offended, but the guy is an idiot who should really learn how to count. I just really hate the way he treats the show’s fans.

Matt and I have been talking about this over the weekend and while we’re both confused, we think that is sort of how it is going, except that they are counting 508 as one episode but it’s going to be 2 hours. Then 509-511 airs the rest of the fall schedule. STM is back to being one episode instead of two so that 511 is the winter premiere and 512 is the 100th. Which…sure? I mean, I don’t get why it matters because it changes an entire seasons worth of episodes?
I dunno. Matt could probably explain it once he gets back.
