My driving question about the kidnapping is why NL? What prompts GOAT to go to another land when in the preview they say they are willing to die for their cause?
Yes, that’s been the primary question on my mind, too. I think there is more than meets the eye to Henry. Perhaps as the child of Emma and Baelfire, he has magic of his own. Maybe they go to NL because Henry is destined to become the next Pan. It’s not clear. Or perhaps they know about the prophesy and believe Henry is the key to taking down the Dark One.
I’ve been wondering if the Home Office orders GOAT to take Henry. We know GOAT have been getting orders and information from someone at the Home Office, so maybe their handlers decide that there is something in NL they need and only Henry can get it.
Over in this thread I speculated that the Shadow is looking for a body to posses but it has yet to find the right now, though Bae was the best fit so far. Maybe Henry is an even better fit being Bae’s son. And the Home Office seeks to control the Shadow but first it needs a body.
This is a really creepy theory.

It’s possible that the Home Office GOAT work for is a subsidiary and the headquarters is actually on another realm – not unlike Wolfram & Hart from Angel – and that’s where GOAT will take Henry to.
But even if their destination won’t be NL, I could see the finale ending giving Henry a similar fate as Neal’s, with Tamara, brought to the brink of death by Rumple’s hands, throwing the last bean right under him, taking him away from his family and into NL. The episode would then end with the Lost Boys surrounding him. 🙂

Maybe the kidnapping isn’t what it seems/doesn’t end the way we think? I mean if this was a huge moment in the season finale wouldn’t they have been more secretive about it? Like making sure people couldn’t be there to take videos of it?
Last year someone leaked vid of Snowing calling to each other using their real names and kissing when the curse broke.
Well that’s annoying lol, they need to get better at blocking that stuff off.
I hope that the kidnapping is resolved before the end of the episode or doesn’t happen the way we think cause if it is then we already know the cliffhanger – Henry is kidnapped and they’re all going after him.I’m assuming everyone will believe Nealfire is dead so they won’t be looking for him, so I’m looking forward to when they eventually run into him and find out he’s alive. The interaction b/w Nealfire and Emma, Henry and Rumple will be great.

Interesting point that brings up something I’ve been wondering all week. What is the final scene of this episode? Last year I though the final scene would be the Curse breaking and people remembering and that’s how it would end. Little did we know Rumple had a plan and I never saw the purple smoke magic coming.
So is the final scene the JR disappearing into the vortex?
Is it NL?
Is it SB going boom in a flash of white?
Is it the leader of the home office?"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 8, 2013 at 5:04 pm #192245laurieanneParticipant@RumbelleDearie wrote:

It isn’t that easy for them to block stuff like this when they’re filming in a public area. People can’t be prohibited from watching or taking photos – it isn’t against the law. They have their security people there to keep people out of the shot(s) but that is all they can do. This may be why they are “destroying” Storybrooke, to keep stuff like this from happening. I think too much is getting recorded and they are tired of trying to shoot around it. It is sad for those of us who love our spoilers but it is completely understandable from a producer perspective.

And sad for the people of the town too! Though I do think if they do move locales it is something that was always part of the plan just like breaking the curse in S1. They want to shake it up.

Is it the leader of the home office?Of that list, I’d pick either 1 or 4.
1 – Sets it up nicely to have the first shot of season 3 being them coming out of the portal.
2 – If we hadn’t seen it prior, this is what I’d go with. but we’ve already seen the island, we’ll be spending time on the JR in NL, and there were also the scenes of the Lost Boys with the little boat. So a money shot of NL as the final shot probably wouldn’t have much of an impact.
3 – I’m still in denial that that’s gonna happen.
4 – If it’s someone we already know, this would be an EPIC reveal and cliffhanger. Maybe they lose contact with GOAT after they go through the portal, and we see the irate boss cursing that they’ve gone rogue, and they have to find them.May 8, 2013 at 6:02 pm #192281RumplesGirlKeymasterI also think the final scene will be the JR popping up on the horizon, seeing the island, the core cast looking over the edge of the JR and then Hook, who is up in the crow’s nest smiling and yelling “Neverland!”
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 8, 2013 at 6:13 pm #192285jenParticipantI’m thinking GOAT takes Henry to the EF meanwhile everyone heads to NL which is where Neal has gone. I know everyone thinks Neal is dead and I believe that even if they thought he was alive they would go searching for Henry before looking for Neal. But I think they head to NL out of necessity. From what we have seen there doesn’t seem to be any way at the moment to get from our world to the EF. However, we have seen that it is possible to get from our world to NL and it has been hinted at and I strongly believe there is a way to get from NL to the EF. If the main cast doesn’t have a magic bean in their possession how are they going to look for Henry? If Hook knows how to get to NL from our world, he would be able to get them there on his boat. Once in NL they would search for a way to get to EF at which point they find MAP and Neal. Since at this point Mulan and Aurora have found out how to get from EF to NL they would know the way back so they can search for Henry. I also like this because I think there is something else to the prophecy that the boy who leads Rumple to his son will be his undoing. Is it possible Henry isn’t the boy? Maybe it’s a lost boy leading Rumple to his supposedly deceased son in NL? I don’t think this would necessarily all happen in the finale, but I think it could be where they’re headed.

I’d be totally fine with the final scene being a shot of Colin O’Donoghue’s smile. Just sayin’.
